“not impresssed”
when I arrived in room there no a remote for tv- I called main desk no one answered- I went down to main desk and was given a remote that did work- also discovered the tv was not plugged in- I took remote to main in the morning and told them it did not work- left for the day (Thanksgiving) - returned about 9:00pm - no one at desk- no remote in room - finally found a person who said I could change rooms - no thank you
“Excellent value”
Very nice, large room, fairly new, well maintained building. The motel is tucked away in a semi-industrial, commercial area and was a little tricky to find but other than that I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable, economical place to stay.
“My "Go To" Hotel in Tulsa”
I have stayed here twice in the last 6 weeks and have had good experiences both times. You're treated to warm, homemade chocolate chip cookies upon your arrival. The staff is friendly and accommodating and allowed me to check out an hour late this past weekend (due to the Tulsa Run). The location is ideal; you're not far from any part of Tulsa you need to get to, especially east and south Tulsa. The rooms aren't fancy but are comfortable. Tip: If you exit on the east side of the hotel and then turn right, lightly-traveled residential streets will take you either over to Mingo Road or South 71st, and you can avoid Memorial and Hwy 169.
“Great Hotel”
This is a very nice hotel. THe rooms are very clean and up to date as well as the over all hotel. I've stayed there twice and have enjoyed both times. The staff is always friendly.
“Will stay here everytime i go back to tulsa”
The people at the front desk were Awesome! The morning peop;e were nice as well as the night shift people. The pool was a little salty but everything else was good. My friends and i stayed there 3 nights and it was great! We even re-booked afer an incident with no hassel.
“Not impressed”
The hotel was run down and not very clean. It looked like they tried to renovate, but just didn't do a good job. The staff was friendly, although not overly helpful. Two of the three times I needed to speak with someone at the desk it was not attended.
“Stay Away”
We specifically reserved this room because of it's location, it was newer, had a pool, and served a breakfast. Outward appearance was good. The children were looking forward to swimming after a long day of driving.... The room was well worn. The carpet from the bathroom to the living area was shredding, and overall - soiled. The walls were dirty and there was some black stuff on the comforter that actually soiled my child's clothes. The furniture had significant nicks/scratches, one of the bathroom lights didn't work, and the window didn't operate well either (not good in case of fire). Were the sheets appeared clean? The pool was DISGUSTING! Not going in! There was a dark brown ring around around both pool and hot tub. The hot tub was "foaming" (a sign of uncleanliness) and filled with dirt. We walked over the the school park next door, as getting a different hotel wasn't an option at this point. In the morning we went to get breakfast (skeptically). Typical setup, but we were leary, of course. We grabbed an apple/ yogurt and to our luck, the apple had some gooey black substance on it. That was it. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. We didn't say anything at the hotel, as it was obvious that it wouldn't have really mattered. Two words. STAY AWAY!
“It's new and beautiful, but I rather go for a normal inn”
Aloft is beautiful of outer appearance, that made us really excited and looked forward. Then I experienced a series of unhappiness: First, I reserved for two-queen-bed type of room, but it changed to one-king-bed with some poor excuses. (BTW, there was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We waited for couple minutes.) Second, it was no battery in the remote control of TV! What a ridiculous. Also, the choice of TV channel is really few. Third, the shower flow was weak, and water leaked to toilet which should be separated. Forth, they were poorly explained about utilities, breakfast time and area, etc. We had to ask everything. Moreover, they charged me extra 50 dollars without telling me. (I think it is for if someone break something, hope my money will be back.) Although the room is new and clean, the bed is really comfortable. I am not satisfied at all. They really need an improvement of training staff.
“Home away from home”
Everything about my stay at Sleep Inn & Suites Tulsa South was extremely pleasant!! Could not have been happier with this Hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, the whole place was top shelf!!! I plan on staying on any future viits!!!
“Good Location”
We only stayed here one night, but hotel met our needs. Close to highway, 71st street restaurants and safe area.
