“Great hotel”
Hotel room was great! Hotel staff was great -- the only hitch was the restaurants. The food was fine Food from the kitchen came very slowly. The shortest wait was 20 minutes.
“Not the Radisson anymore.”
This hotel is no longer the "Radisson," it's now a "Wyndham" property. There is no signage out front, and as of right now it's a rather bleak white colored building. Were it not for GPS, I wouldn't have known we had arrived. The rooms are substandard. No refrigerator or microwave, which is annoying at a hotel this nice. My girlfriend and I were NOT impressed by the Sleep Number beds. The front desk staff was friendly, but the recent franchise change seemed to have them out of sorts. At one point they had said that my credit card may be charged a 2nd time because of a difficulty in communication with Expedia, but when I had a brief come-apart they recanted and promised it would not be. They also gave us a free breakfast for two at the hotel restaurant, which was wonderful. The outdoor pool is nice. The indoor pool has been converted to a small waterpark for little kids, which would've been cool if the Jacuzzi wasn't inside with the myriads of screaming children. Overall, we had fun and there were no gleaming errors about the place to ruin it. For a four star property I expect more, though, and would probably either go with a better equipped three star or another luxury property that has their act together a little better.
“Great Place”
My husband and I were looking for a perfect place to get away for the weekend. We figured the splash-park would be small....however we were pleasently suprised. it was small enough that i could sit in the hot tub and watch our 2 daughters play but it was big enough that they went from one thing to another and never got bored. I heard it was for younger children, so i was concerned our oldest daughter would find it "babyish"...not the case! My daughters are 10 & 7. The oldest daughter had just as much fun as our youngest. The outdoor pool was great as well. The rooms were your average hotel room we were pleased... they were large enough and super clean. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Everything we needed was within walking distance even a 24 hour grocery store across the street. We will definately go back.
