"Tulum never disappoints.."
I have stayed at several properties on the beach.. but The Beach Tulum is definitely on the top of my list. The service is impeccable with super friendly staff.. Shout out to Greg (beach server), Erick (restaurant manager), Barbara (lobby bartender) and Sylvia (front desk). They were not only super accommodating but really helped to enhance our stay at Beach Tulum. Highly recommend!!

"great place, great restauraunt, great neighborhood"
Wife and I stayed at Zamas one week in February. The cabana we were in was perfect for us - very few distractions (no internet, thank goodness). The bed had nettting all around to protect from mosquitos (there were a few bites on the calm nights, but it was windy most of the time and very few bugs in general). Our room was big and airy, but it is not like a hotel, more like a cabin - low light levels, and lots of wind blowing through. They cleaned our room every day, which was nice (lots of sand). Two nice hammocks on the porch. The beach there is great, though beaches down the road were nicer, and had better snorkeling. That being said, I would come to this location again. The restaurant at Zamas was great, and had bands almost every night. All the nearby restaurants were also just excellent. We had the most outstanding seafood at these places. The neighborhood was totally safe. Iguanas EVERYWHERE. LOVED it.

"Feels off the grid in a great way"
Whether swimming in the turquoise blue sea or enjoying the calming water of your private pool, no detail is overlooked. From the friendly staff, to the delicious food... From the hanging lanterns to the smell of copal wafting through the air, BeTulum over delivers in every way. They were successful at curating the ultimate beach get-away. We loved every minute of it and plan to go back.

"Away from town, so nice."
We stayed here for 3 days while travelling around tulum. My wife and I thought that this hotel was the nicest out of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip. Comfortable beds, nice staff, Coffee, AC, flat screen television. A little bit of a walk from town, but we enjoyed walking and there is a great tacos al pastor across the street as well as a nice fish restaurant right across the street. Not sure but I think it is the one that was reviewed in NY time but not named. Highly recommended if you pre book online to save 50% of the listed price at the hotel, and dont mind walking a little bit - 10 mins slow 5 fast from the end of the sidewalk

"Must-stay hotel in Tulum"
The service of the hotel is a standout. The staff are exceedingly friendly, attentive, and willing to go out of their way to help with whatever the guests may need, and the resort is beautifully designed and nicely situated on the beach, while the food and drinks are inclusive in the package. The only small caveat is that sometimes the showers do not work as well as they should, but the maintenance staff is on call at a moment's notice.

"Simple, yet very quiet and relaxing!"
Would recommend if you're planning to experience Tulum Playa. We stayed 3 nights in room 22 beachside and it was surrounded by lush green and just steps down a small path to the beach. This hotel is a part of The Beach Tulum and is also associated with Ziggy's restaurant. Each morning we had a complimentary breakfast at Ziggy's and was a huge plus to be able to start our day with a beachside breakfast and a quick email catch-up with their complimentary internet. Location is toward the middle of the beach zone and an easy walk up or down the beach to the various restaurants and resorts. Only complaint was from my wife, who wanted hot water instead of the warm water from their showers. Other than that, we'd return in a heartbeat if we come back.

"Wonderful little place in town."
Arriving at Las Tres Palmas after flying for 11 hours, and busing for 2, it was a little spot of heaven. The gentleman that checked us in, took us directly to our room, and turned the AC on and didn't ask us for anything. The kitchenette was nice, and the shower was fresh water and clean. We rented bikes for a little under $5 USD a day. Laundry service was cheap and prompt, and everything was cleaned nicely. The free Wifi was fairly fast, and didn't have any connection problems that I could detect.

"Very nice room on the beach...."
We had a great stay. Everyone was awesome. Spend the extra $ and get a beach front bungalow, its worth it. Rudy and Tony were awesome and made our trip even more fun. We told them it was our anniversary and we got a free dinner on the beach. There will be topless women on the beach, so if you can't handle seeing that, Tulum is not the place for you. We went to the Tulum ruins, which we would recommend. Akumal Bay was awesome and easy to get to by taxi. We took our own snorkeling gear but they do have it to rent and also lockers you can rent too. Snorkeling with turtles, rays, and fish in calm water. It was very hard to snorkel off of the hotel beach because of the larger waves than at Akumal. We spent an afternoon and went to Playa Del Carmen. Bad idea. Everyone tries to pull you in their shop and sell you weed and the same crap as the guy next door. I wouldn't waste your time or money. Night walks on the beach were great. Make sure you take a flashlight. There are crabs everywhere. When we go back we will rent a car because everywhere you want to go is a long walk and taxi fares add up very quick. Simple was a great place to eat and is right down the road. Also, the pizza at OM resort was awesome and is a short walk up the beach. Back to the Mestizo, they did everything they could to make our trip amazing. Lastly, small bills are pointless in Mexico. Anything less than a fifty peso bill is not needed. A beer is 45 pesos
