Very good value - close to everything you needPosted Apr 11, 2014
We (53 year old woman & teenage son) stayed for a 6 night holiday travelling by public transport to Carthage etc & Sousse. Ideally placed for transport, Medina walks, cafes etc. Exceptionally clean. Pleasant staff. Room small but ok as we were out most of the time. Pleasant staff. Very secure. Reasonable breakfast. Would definitely return

clean, very conveniently located hotelPosted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: location, atmosphere, good views over Bourguiba Avenue, good breakfast, clean rooms
Location: Excellent location to walk around, to go to the Medina/souk. Try a very convenient, basic, good quality restaurant nearby: Capitol.
a good experience, excellent staff. We asked at the last minute for a tour by car on a Sunday afternoon, all was arranged for us, we had an excellent guide-driver, Habib.

Great hotel for the budget minded.Posted Dec 29, 2013
Situated in a great downtown location and very convenient to the major sites in central Tunis. The staff was friendly and very helpful for English speakers and the rooms were acceptable but lacked a refrigerator or a TV. The breakfast included was good and wasn't bothered by any street noises. Overall a great value for the money especially for those traveling on a budget and want a centrally located hotel.

Not Quite There....Posted Nov 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not quite there... Getting there for me would mean, 1) Internet service that was reliable (Internet service was intermittent and slow), 2) replacing the burned out light bulbs in my room, and 3) having my reservation available oncheck-in (could not find my reservation). The hotel is OK, the staff are super nice, the location is great - but the experience is just not quite there....

Nice Hotel in Down TownPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Location, fast WIFI, fairly spacious rooms suitable for couples, families and short to medium term business travelers.
Cons: Pay attention to room cleaning.
Location: Zeitouna Mosque, Cathedral, Old City, talk a walk along Habib Burigiba
I have been to Tunisia more than 20 times and so far this hotel is the best value out of 3 hotels within surrounding area and a pocket saver compared to Lac. The hotel has been recently reonnovated however they should pay more attention to the room cleaning. A new restaurant is under refurbishing with ultra modern decoration and the current one serves a limited variety but acceptable quality food.

Nicely refurbishedPosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Impressed by the smartness of the room, the hotel apparently being upgraded. We were given a balcony room over a sidestreet, giving a welcome taste of the local atmosphere. Also very pleased with a good buffet breakfast, setting us up for a busy day looking round. Hotel is well positioned for the city, on the central boulevard. Friendly staff. Would be glad to return.

Great locationPosted Aug 16, 2013
The location of the hotel is excellent and the room was spotless. However, the room was cramped, as our 'triple room' was a small twin room with an extra bed squeezed in. Also, the walls were thin - we could here the next room's TV and noises from outside our room.

Best location in townPosted Jun 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The best location in town, extremely helpful staff, but...... stayed for three nights and was given an internal room with minimal light. The hotel is under renovation and noisy work started very early. Moved to another room for the other nights which was large and newly renovated. But the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable, and many small things need attention.... light bulbs and tv's that don't work properly, new bathroom with half shower screen so the water floods everywhere... good breakfast if you like it cooked... some fresh fruit would have been nice...plentiful and cheap in the markets. But overall a good hotel and would recommend it.
