Excellent Hotel, great staffPosted Feb 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
I don't normally leave reviews but felt compelled to do so as the service I received at Hotel Piemontese was great! The hotel is in a great location - 5 minutes walk to PN station, 10-15 minutes to the town centre itself. The hotel is clean and comfortable, good bathroom and I had a balcony over the courtyard which was a bonus! Communal areas are really nice and free internet in the lobby is a bonus! However, My main reason for leaving this review is the staff. They were helpful at all times - providing guidance or how to get to the football stadium for the Juve match, pointing out restaurants and places of interest and even loaning out plug adaptors to foolish travellers (i.e. me) who had forgotten their own! Everyone was really friendly and helpful and it was honestly a pleasure to stay there. If I return to Turin I would definitely stay there again. highly recommended, very affordable and thanks to all!

We were in Turin for Terra Madre, Slow Foods International Conference. The staff was amazing, we loved the girl who worked in the breakfast area and our room was very nice. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Good placePosted Oct 22, 2012
Location: It was our first time to Turin and the hotel was not quite where, in hindsight, we would have chosen. Still decent though and no complaints.
Staff polite and friendly. Continental breakfast substantial.

Comfortable and affordablePosted Jul 20, 2012
Pros: The bathroom
Cons: The weak air conditioner
Location: The location was a bit dodgy, but it was close to the train station
Despite the shady area, I loved this hotel. The staff was helpful and approachable. It was a bit noisy because of the street, but it wasn't bad when it was closed. I just wish the air conditioner worked better!

Nice hotel, but the area is a little shady.Posted Nov 28, 2011
The hotel itself is well maintained, the staff is nice and the price apparently includes breakfast which was a nice surprise. The neighborhood however, was quite shady. They also offer free wifi in the hotel lobby, which is rare in Europe. The only real complaint about the hotel is that the shower was in a tiny stall. But that's it. There is also this one pretty good restaurant called Alba nearby that is apparently frequented by a lot of celebrities including Adrien Brody.

Iffy neighborhoodPosted Oct 17, 2011
weather was very warm, but hotel had shut off AC due to time of the year. Opened balcony door, but street is dusty and noisy. Awaken at 4:00 a.m. by people yelling on street, then 5:00 from garbage truck making its round. \maybe okay for winter and middle of summer only when you can leave the windows or patio doors shut. The room has a stale smell! Nevertheless, staff are just as friendly as my last visit.

MediocrePosted May 23, 2011
Ok, so it's a three star hotel and it wasn't so expensive, but they could try harder. The air conditioning didn't work, neither did the internet port in the room. Three stars doesn't mean you can get away with leaving stuff broken. The staff were mostly friendly though. The location was... well, areas directly around mainline stations are never the best.

I will use this hotel againPosted Oct 15, 2010
First of all I'll have to say how friendly and helpful all the staff were during our stay at the hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood while not being the best, I never felt uneasy, say like I would in some UK or US cities. The breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee excellent. The rooms are comfortable and my only complaints would be the lighting in the rooms could be better and sometimes there was a funny smell in the bathroom. Other than that I was very happy with the hotel and would use again without hesitation.
