Lovely old fashion hotel
Don’t expect a new modern hotel. But for the price it was perfect for me. The room wasn’t too small for ‘European city hotel’, bed was very comfortable and very cute old fashion design. Shower wasn’t great and I can imagine the AC not being enough for very hot periods. Staff was always welcoming and helpful. Location is great, breakfast wasn’t fantastic but good enough for something small before heading out.

Excellent location close to Porta Nuova station. My room had part of an old painting on the ceiling! Staff were very pleasant . Some might find the beds a bit firm, but they were good for my back. Pleasant lounge and continental breakfast. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Very close to Porta Nuova train station, only 2 mins walk. Great price for a hotel in this area. Renovation is a bit old, but still clean and fine. TV/Remote doesn't work during my stay.

Worms and bugs!!!! And terrible service!!
Got in at midnight and upon entering I knew it would be a problem. The entrance is cluttered and dirty. Hallways are cluttered and dirty. There is a stench of mold as you walk to your room. Then not surprising there was a worm on our bed linens and towels. I refused to stay there for health concerns for me and my child. I switched hotel at 1 00am in the morning having to walk to neighbouring hotel. Then was charged for my stay!!!! Not acceptable to pay for a room which I did not stay in due to their cleaning standards! Owners are despicable!!! nobody should booked this horrible place!!!!

Dear Madam, We were astonished to read his review as the one you described looks like the worst of the hotels that could be part of a horror movie scene. Fortunately for us, the reality is another, otherwise we would have already had to close the business for some time. Without going into the merits of your "horror" statements, we would just like to point out that the Hotel is not in the countryside and his room was on the second floor so luckily for us we didn't have any of it to do with worms !! Secondly, we would like to point out that it cannot use certain expressions against the owners of the Hotel as it has never interlaced us together !!! Kind regards The direction Olimpia Fracei

Small family hotel. Great location near station
This is a budget hotel, but the room was clean with a decent bathroom, character and had a safe in the room etc. The check-in was quick and the breakfast had a lovely varied choice. Can't grumble at all for the money. Would definitely come again.

Will be my home in Torino. (!) Absolutey phenomenal location. Central, old-town Torino. Those Gilden Age marble apartment blocks, so European, like Paris. Great, inexpensive restaurants just next door. Great, great Italian restos. 10 minute walk to the River Po. Super grateful staff. They genuinely are *happy* you are there, and do everything in their power to make you happy. They actually make you fell good. And you're all happy going to the phenomenal restos next door. Very happy camper. <@_@>

Nice hotel
Very good location near train station and easy walk to most sites. Pleasant room(those facing the street are better), nice staff, breakfast ok(we were there during slow period so not much available, but adequate to start the morning)

Friendly staff, located at few steps from the train station, close to restaurants and cafes, the shower was a bit small, in general the hotel was in good shape. The only bad thing is there was a funny smell in my room which I'm not sure what was causing it but it wasn't too bad to disturb me.

Clean, simple and friendly, close to transport
Very friendly welcome on check in. Room was a reasonable size, warm and clean. Bed was comfortable. There was a mini-bar in the fridge but no price list. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was good, except the screen was not properly attached and was hard to close. Breakfast was the typical Italian fare but lacked any savoury options except plain bread. There was a faint smoke smell in the room which seems to be not uncommon in Italy. Good WiFi in room. 5 minutes' walk from Porta Nuova train station and the nearby bus stops. I would stay here again for an overnight when needing to get the train/bus.

Very clean close to public transportation
I like this hotel it's very clean and close to the train and other public transportation stuff speak English the only concern I had while I was staying is the the fridge I have kids I need to keep some food and drink for us the fridge doesn't work and also at night it's nousy you have to close windows since there are bars and restaurants around in general we liked it

Great position, good staff
Good the hotel position and very helpful the staff, breakfast was ok too. Good the price comparing to other hotel in the same area. I didn't find in the room a safe deposit box and also a coffee set that I would have appreciated a lot.

A Pleasing Stay
I spent 5 nights at the Due Mondi and I enjoyed it. The location is perfect, approx 250 meters from Torino Porta Nouva train station. This is the closet station to the old part of town. A couple of the back streets can be a bit dodgy late at night so stick to the main streets if you are out and about. The hotel is about 100 meters from one of the main streets in Turin. The hotel is quaint, clean and the staff were very helpful & courteous. My room needed a coat of paint as it looked tied. Be advised that if your room faces the street, it can get a bit loud late at night o either ask for a room not facing the street or close the window. The window in my room was double glazed so once closed, noise was no longer an issue. There is an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel and another restaurant a few meters towards the main street. But if you're looking for something like "pub grub", around the corner on that main street is an English styled pub. Food was good and the beers reasonably priced. I also found a laundromat nearby and advised the owner to a drop off of flyers to the hotel. I also helped him write English instructions on how to use the facilities.

Hotel was needed for an overnight and we chose this one due its location It is a 2 minutes walk from the rail station plus the majority of the sights are within 15 minutes walk. It is just off the main road which is great for bars. We visited the Huntsman Pub and had a great night. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and provided us with a map and directions. The hotel is average with nice bathrooms and it is kept very clean. Bedding was clean and fresh. The room on the first floor looked down onto a small courtyard. Breakfast was basic continental. The colour scheme for the hotel is colourful e.g. bright pink carpet on the stairs. Our room was in orange. All quite quaint. Very enjoyable would definitely stay again if in Turin overnight.

I booked a room at the Hotel Due Mondi last-minute based on the location being near to the train station and a good nightly rate. I was very pleased with the choice. The hotel is a very pleasant place, the staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Wi-fi cost extra and was slow but that was not an issue as it was fine for checking emails etc. My room was large, well furnished and very clean. I couldn't get the air-con to work but again that wasn't an issue during my stay as I could open the window for some fresh air. Some of the decor in the hotel is a bit unusual, but glance up at the ceilings, they are quite beautiful. Another thing to watch out for is the neighbourhood. I felt safe enough around the hotel, even at night, but nearby there is a 'sexy shop' and you will see women hanging around on the street corners looking for business. That said, the location was good and it was easy to walk to most of the major attractions of Turin. I would stay again but would check on the air-con first if I was there in the height of summer.

Good location. Walking distance to museums and historic city. Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff, shower stall! Breakfast good. Excellent value. Needs some updating of rooms, has electrical equipment from 40 years ago. Some patching necessary on walls, but would certainly stay again.

Great Location
The hotel lives up to a 3 star standard, and possibly 3.5. The location is close to many of the great attractions of Turin. The rooms were kept clean and tidy even though they skimped on the tissues in the bathroom, ended buying a box ourselves, no big deal. The WiFi can be patchy depends on the location of the room, and they charge 3EU for the service. We had to change rooms in order for it to work acceptably. Car parking is limited and it cost 10EU per day, and you must leave the keys with the front desk. All else is quite acceptable and living up to its 3* standard and its not trying to pretend to be anything more. Great value, would stay there again.

A great place to stay in Turin
The hotel was centrally situated, near the station. Since the station was also where the airport bus stopped, that was convenient too. It was only a short walk to most of the city's attractions, the others being reached from the nearby station. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was all one could ask for and made a good start to the day. I would certainly say there again.
