Enjoyed our stay at Ocean Club West it's location is great easy walk to groceries as well as some good restaurant. We had a junior suite with full kitchen. The room was a short walk to beach and pool .. Absolutely nothing to complain about at this resort.

Lovely stay at Ocean Club WestPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We even meet some folks who used to live on the island but now live in the states and stay here always.
Cons: Not much...it is truly a beautiful place, reasonable, lovely beach and grounds. Felt like we were in paradise at every turn. Good swimming too!
Location: Good location, near shops and tour planning offices. Safe area, we were never haggled as you can be on some islands, like Jamaica.
My husband and I are in our early forties and enjoyed a most relaxing and pleasant stay here. Ocean Club resorts were recommended by some friends of ours who like to stay at the older Ocean Club (not the West one where we stayed). The original Ocean Club is a bit further down Grace Bay Beach and maybe even more quiet, although we thought that it was very quiet where we were also, seeing that we went during the off season. We rode bicycles down to the other resort (you can use both facilities if you stay at one) and we liked the West version better as it is newer and close to shopping so it is easy to just walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. It is also less expensive at OCW per room for some reason and I'm not sure why? We had a basic suite, which faced the island view and we had a lovely tropical oasis of palm trees and flowering tropical plants right outside the screened in veranda which is huge and another room onto it's own! We often had our breakfast or lunch at the table there since it was so peaceful. At first, I was a bit disappointed that we didn't spend extra on the ocean view room, but after being there a few days, we found that it was nice to spend time at the beach but then come back to our shady peaceful abode. We were on the second floor, room 524. It had a fully equipped kitchenette with 2 stovetop burners, fridge, coffee maker (ice maker in the fridge which was super convenient!), blender, toaster...basically anything you could want.

Perfect location on Grace Bay.Posted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Reasonable price, good location.
Location: Right on Grace Bay. Casino just down the road, grocery store nearby (walking distance).
Lobster season had just started when we got there! You can't beat the fresh seafood. Notable dining experiences: Marigold, Coco Bistro, Caicos Cafe. Great snorkeling on the Barrier Reef. This was our third time in Provo, and each time we have enjoyed our stay at Ocean Club West.

Great family vacation!!!!Posted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: Beach access was great and location to shopping.
Cons: Mopping of floors before guest arrival.
Location: Grace bay beach! Casa Blanca casino! Lots of shopping.
The beach was one of the world's best! Clean, cool, calm, and beautiful! The condo was nice however it needed a good mopping. Onsite grill was great for the tuna I caught deep sea fishing. The pool was small and shallow, good for kids. Close to the best shopping on the island but still suggest a rental car. Taxi to hotel was way over priced just like all food and souvenirs. People were nice and didn't bother tourists trying to sell junk. Would go again but would try and find a good all inclusive deal!

Chill out at OCWPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Close to beach and restaurants
Cons: Stairs to the room but great view when you are up there
Location: Close to the local supermarket and eating out
Quiet relaxed resort with great access to local restaurants and shops. Lovely staff and the best beach - white sand and blue sea - just like the pictures!

One of Top Three Beaches in the CaribbeanPosted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: The proximity to the excellent beach made this hotel ideal for those that like to use the beach several times a day.
Cons: Lower cost shuttle service to the airport.
Location: Some food and sundry shops were a few blocks away. With a hotel bicycle, it would only take a few minutes to get there.
The hotel while not one of the most luxurious in the area, had one of the top three beaches in the whole Caribbean area. The water was crystal clear and extremely clean. In the week that I was there, I did not see a single leaf in the water and one small twig in the whole week that I was there. Cabs were a bit expensive as was the food. The hotel was adequate for the cost and maid service was provided daily. NEARBY GROCERY SHOPS PROVIDED SOME RELIEF FROM THE HIGH FOOD COSTS. The use of hotel bikes made getting around to the shops much easier. The beautiful beach more than made up for some of the other deficiencies. Overall, the total cost using the grocery stores for most of the food, was a very good return for the investment made for this trip!

Great stay...first time in TCI (week of June 16th)Posted Jun 23, 2013
We have been to many of the islands......and I have to say we loved TCI. Beach was just gorgeous and the island vibe is less commercial than others. The OCW was very comfortable, clean and well cared for, and the staff was very good (front desk, restaurant, house keeping, etc). We loved the screened in porches. This location on Grace Bay also turned out to be very convenient to great restaurants like Coco Bistro, easy walking distance to shopping district, and easy access to supermarket. Not as fancy (or pricey) as some of the other resorts...but a great comfortable place with superb beach and great overall location.

Convenient, comfortable condo-type hotelPosted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for 6 nights at Oceans Club West and it was exactly as expected. Had a 2nd floor ocean view 1 bedroom junior suite, which is comfortable, clean, with good bed. Full kitchen with all the cooking utensils, plates, glasses, even blender, and washer and dryer are very helpful to live like home rather than a hotel room. This is probably one of the closes hotels to the Graceway Gourmet Supermarket where you can at least self-cater some of the meals to cut cost and be more comfortable. Compared to some neighboring higher end resorts, Oceans Club West certainly does not look as luxurious or hip, but you can walk over to the other resorts for a dinner or drinks easily and save on the cost of the room. The A/C is really good and easily cools down the room at night. I chose this property also because it had a fully screened patio and mosquitos love me! This makes sitting on the patio a lot more pleasant and no mosquitos in the room too if you leave the patio doors open. All stretches of sand on Grace Bay are fantastic and there is never a shortage of beach chairs and towels. Overall, very good stay if you are looking for a convenient, clean, comfortable room without too much luxury and fanciness.
