Conveniently located but not on the beach.Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Attractive and up to date fixtures. Staff was friendly. Was close to other businesses. Had a pool and ping pong table near the pool. Clean.
Cons: Breakfast! We've had better at much less expensive hotels.
Location: Was convenient to other businesses which was helpful since our package was not all inclusive.
Next to the gourmet grocery store, dive shop, scooter rental, and five minutes to the beach and restaurants by walking. Had to get to the beach at 7 am to reserve a chair with your towel or go 3:30pm or later. When we first arrived, we were given 2 beds instead of the 1 king as we had reserved. Told they could give us the king within 4 days but by that time we didn't want to pack up and relocate. They didn't have any beach towels for afternoon we arrived but we learned to get them the night before we needed them. Staff didn't seem to know that the included breakfast meant someone had to make the coffee, start the juice machine by the time breakfast was supposed to be available. It got better as days passed by.

Nice HotelPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Proximity to beach and shopping
Cons: Cleanliness of the floors in our room and larger pillows.
We were only staying one night in Provo and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money for one night. We booked this place based on other reviews and were happy with the choice. The hotel was close to shopping, restaurants, and within walking distance to the beach. The room did smell a bit musty, but overall we were happy with the room and hotel.

Good value and location, helpful stallPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: There was a easy feel about the place that made you relaxed and comfortable. Our room was on the ground floor, making it quick to go to in and out.
Cons: The pool was sometimes occupied by a scuba class. More fruit as part of the daily breakfast offerings.
Location: Ports of Call was very well located for quick access to a lovely beach.
My daughter and I just returned from 5 night at Ports of Call. Compared to the surrounding hotels, this hotel was good value for the money. The location was great for days on the beautiful beach that is easily accessible. The staff was as pleasant and agreeable as they come. The safe in our room caused a bit of a problem and had to be serviced late in the night so that we could remove our passports before our early morning departure. The maintenance man came at midnight and got the job done. It would have been preferable to have equipment that did not fail, but I believe that could have happened anywhere. They handled it as best they could and were very apologetic. The breakfast offerings were simple, but we appreciated having something so convenient each day when we awoke. I would have like to have a bit more fruit as a daily option.

It's okay..Posted Feb 24, 2014
There for 1 night before moving to our booked hotel. Rooms definitely smell a bit musty, and the half glass shower just didn't make any sense. It did serve it's purpose though, but I wouldn't stay there for an entire week.

Good economical hotel for a relaxing vacationPosted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Convenience Family-friendly
Cons: Continental breakfast was basic, however, would prefer not to have limited to the recommended maximum of one egg and one yogourt per guest.
This is a great economical hotel for families on a budget. It has basic amenities; mini fridge, tv, ice machine, microwave and water kettle in the dining area, complimentary continental breakfast, pool on site, little playground, fitness room, parking. The hotel was clean, relax and quiet. The size of the rooms were good for our family of 3. We had a king size bed with a sofa bed in the seating area and a dining table. The staff was professional. They were very courteous to help us get information, book our tour and make reservation for the restaurants. Charles and Samuel were exceptionally wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. The staff was superb with our 8 month old daughter. It was a nice small hotel where you get to know the staff and other guests staying there. Many families were staying at the hotel. It was convenient to walk across to the IGA supermarket, walkable distances to the restaurants and plazas and the Grace Bay Beach was a block away. There's a shuttle every hour to bring you to the beach. If you plan to move around the island, there is no public transport. Renting a car would be highly recommended or taxi. Though taxi are quite expensive, minimum $15 one way trip. If you want to try more local cuisine, the restaurants are further away. For families with children, Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay, southwest of the island were more suitable for children as the water was calmer and shallow between 2-3ft and can walk as far as a 100ft away from shore.

Nice hotel close to beachPosted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: Breakfast included, fast wifi in the rooms, great location, very nice pool, dedicated beach chairs
Cons: Having to change towels with the front desk staff. Not the hotel's fault but the airport taxi system is terrible
Perfect location, with the gorgeous Grace Bay just across the street, maybe 1.5 minute walk. My previous visit was at a beachfront hotel where you wore the key on a bracelet, which was of course more convenient, but this was an economical alternative. Supermarket across the street had great cut fruit for less than I pay at Whole Foods, tho barely. Breakfast was better than I expected. Fresh fruit, some delicious pastries, bread. Also cereal, yogurt, cheese and meat (as I'm a vegetarian, would have preferred separate tongs) juices, and organic tea. Some of the staff was fantastic, like the breakfast buffet people who were quite attentive. And OMG one of the bartenders had us cracking up. On the other hand, some of the hotel desk staff often seemed slightly irritated... Not a deal-breaker, but slightly baffling as we were very friendly. There was quite a ruckus at some nearby bar Saturday night, but might depend on the room. Comfy beds. Toiletries include a rather decent hair conditioner!!! Would I stay here again? Yup.

Perfecto!Posted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: I liked the comfort of the hotel, location and the pool area was very relaxing.
Location: The location is great and only a 4 minute walk to the beach. Instead of paying that high cost of the other hotels for the beach this place is great.
I stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and just got back yesterday and the renovations they did came out great. The place is nice and clean. The staff are all friendly and it was as you see it online.

Nice budget hotel, short walk to beachPosted Jan 28, 2014
Location: Caicos Cafe is an expensive but wonderful restaurant. Guests eat outside and the torches lend a lovely ambiance. Italian owners, local fish.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget hotel. Staff is nice and friendly, clean hotel, not at all fancy but we had everything we needed: pool, hot tub, free chairs on beach. Many restaurants & shops right near property. A good deal for a fraction of the cost of the fancier places. Surf could be very, very rough on some days. Good to rent a car for a day, even, and go to Sopadilla beach or somewhere else for a change. Lovely there. We stayed one week and the weather was not perfect every day but I think that's what happens in January.

Close to the beach at a good pricePosted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: The price. Clean and comfortable rooms and property.
Our first trip to T&C . PROPERTY: Clean property with a good location, surrounded by more luxurious and much more expensive resorts. I found our room to be clean and comfortable (bear in mind, I'm a guy- My definition of clean may be MUCH broader than 50% of the population; nevertheless, I found the property to be well maintained). The pool area was small but comfortable. The hot tub temperature varied wildly over the 4 nights we were there. The employees were responsive to complaints, and I can only believe there was some sort of mechanical issue. A continental breakfast available in the morning- several cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, danish, and some fresh fruit- nothing fancy, but adequate. LOCATION: Not on the beach, but an easy 5 minute walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach- A great beach for swimming. Several restaurants and bars right across from the hotel (Upstairs Grill was tasty). Several others within a few minutes walk. As I initially noted, this was our first time in T & C. While the island is more expensive than some others (food prices are high), the standard of living seems considerably better for the residents. We felt completely at ease walking around the surrounding area, or renting a car or moped and exploring the island. Don't hesitate to get out on your own and enjoy a beautiful island.
