Perfection on Grace BeachPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Tranquility, peaceful and a staff that was always pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The Beach service and Cabana's leave a lot to be desired. The Cabana's are far too small and hardly reflect on the magnificent grounds of the Hotel.
Location: Swimming on Grace Beach and the Restaurants.
My wife and I stayed 17 days during which our son and daughter flew in for four of those days. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping services were excellent and our suite was huge and made one feel like they were at home. Our experience with Restaurants was excellent except for the Amanyara Hotel, where we went for dinner. The food was hardly better than that offered by Hemingway's ($300.00) as compared to the Amanyara ($2000.00). However, having visited most of the Restaurants, we concluded that our own Hotel's Signature restaurant, Parallel, was by far the best on the Island. The Management and Staff were excellent.

Nice Hotel & beach, too expensive, no activitiesPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Nice facilities
Location: Not much
The Hotel and the Beach are beautiful, the staff professional but not friendly, the food was OK. The hotel has no activities at all and the services are very expensive

Great hotel, very quite, great staffPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Beautiful setting, very clean.
Cons: Food could be a bit better - it was good but not as good as others outside of the hotel
Location: Not much to do that is "inclusive". But plenty to do away from hotel - water sports and horseback riding.
Great getaway ! Hotel was very nice and quiet (went in June - rainy season is June-Aug). Hotel food was good - but not great. Better restaurants outside of hotel. First time to island and will come back again - best without kids as there is not a lot to do for them unless you are willing to pay pretty high rates for outside companies that rent jet ski / para-sail, etc.

Nice hotel and close to the beach and shopping.Posted May 20, 2014
My husband and I stayed here from our 10th year wedding anniversary. It was perfect. Very cozy hotel for two. The spa services were amazing. The resturant served delicious food. We also got recommendations for some resturants. We loved Anacaona, Le Bourgon and Bay Bistro. All great food and atmosphere. We also did a snorkeling tour with Caicos Dream Tours. It was outstanding.

Beautiful Regent Palms!Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and beautiful rooms, amazing pool and beach.
Cons: The food could be improved. Everything was way overcooked.
Location: Bella Luna and Coco Bistro a must!
The Regent Palms is a beautiful resort. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, amazing spa and fitness classes and most importantly a fabulous pool and beach! This was our first trip and we are already planning our return visit.

Elegance on the beachPosted May 5, 2014
Pros: The suite was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool is exquisite and the beach second to none. Pool and beach staff were very accommodating.
Cons: Follow through of concierge service could be better. Two outside dinner reservations were never made.
Location: The location was central on Grace Bay beach. Shopping was disappointing. Restaurants with-in walking distance or 5 to 10 minutes by cab.
Stayed April 28 - May 2. Easy trip from the airport. Very relaxing experience. Weather was perfect. Spa service was very good. Food at the hotel was just average and very expensive. Loved the pool area and beach. Not much else to do on the Island if you're not into water excursions.

Not a 5-star propertyPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: We booked 3-BR ocean view suite - room was spacious and fairly clean. In-room washer/dryer and kitchen were very useful as every service is expensive.
Bad check-in experience (room not ready). Everything runs on "island time" (i.e., very slowly, no focus on service). 15% tip included in everything which removes any incentive to provide good service. Beach is nice but that's about it. Grounds are not well maintained, rooms and public spaces need maintenance and the staff needs to care. There's definitely some grade inflation on T&C - this is not a 5-star property by any definition and probably not worth the money.

Pleasant paradisePosted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: Boardwalk area for sunbathing and beach bar.
Cons: I cannot think of anything that could be improved.
Location: We enjoyed the area. Dined at Mango's Reef (excellent!) Grace Bay cottage and Danny Buoy's.
Enjoyed the facility. Found it to be very expensive both for food and beverages. The staff was pleasant and responsive to requests. It was very noisy around the pool.....parents on vacation ignored the children who took over the pool. Regardless, this was not a place for me. I also found that you cannot go anywhere whithout getting a taxi. If you choose to get one use "Tubby's Taxi" service; a very happy go lucky guy who kept us in stiches. People who enjoy children should find this place excellent for the whole family.

Excellent resort for families with pre-teens/teensPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Medium size of the resort, food, service and activities were all great.
Cons: Adding a sailboat preferably a larger hobie with jib sail and wind surfers
Location: Excellent island with many activities
We have an outstanding time at the Regent Palms over an early March spring break. This resort is very nice and the service was great. It is best for families with kids who are no too young but it is very family friendly. It is not a huge resort like some of the all inclusives found in and around the Carribean so there is not the masses on the beach larger resorts deal with. There are plenty of activities to take advantage of and the beach is beautiful with clear water and excellent views. We will return to the Regent Grand.
