I highly recommend Villa del Mar! The location is great, easy access to shops, dining and the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk staff is committed to great service. VdM does a good job threading the needle between the "budget" properties in Provo and the high end resorts. I got good value for my dollar and definitely plan to return!

The staff were great. Westine was exceptional and Lakeithra and Kerone were also excellent. The resort is quiet and close to restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately the resort is a little tired. Our unit smelled musty and everything in the unit needs updating.

The hospitality (staff by service) and location were very nice of this property. Will return here, only wish they had a cafe or some sort of a restaurant on property because when you arrive after a long flight, you want the convenience of having a restaurant on property. There is grace bay club and other restaurants around conveniently located within walking distance but it will be nice to have some options on property. The front desk and other staff were all very nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean so quite happy with our stay :)

This property was a perfect fit for what we needed without spending a ridiculous fortune. The beach is right across the street just a minute away with chairs and umbrellas already set up for you. The center of town is only a 10 minute walk where you can find plenty of dining options, coffee shops, bars, casinos and shopping. Villa Del Mar’s staff went above and beyond for us and offered quick resolutions to any issue we had. They took care of calling our taxis and offered valuable advice on dining and things to do. The pool area was very relaxing and pool chairs and cushions were comfy. I will definitely plan on staying here again for my next visit.

Proximity to beach and restaurants was great. Wilkin at the bar was excellent. Check in was a bit chaotic as there were many ppl checking in at the same time. We got there early at 1pm and were patiently waiting for 3pm check in. As we waited many other guests began arriving and we noticed that they were being shown their rooms before us. Maybe a simple oversight but we had already been waiting for hours. we checked in around 3:30 so not a huge deal but could’ve been better. Property would benefit by having bikes for their guests to use like many other properties do as the walk to town is about 15-20 mins. This is definitely a family resort. Expect dozens of kids in the pool. Despite there being a separate 2-4ft kids pool, the hotel doesn’t designate the main pool as adults only so the kids pool remained largely empty and the main pool was crowded with kids most days. Unfortunate for adults who wanted to relax by or in the pool. They should designate the main pool for adults only. The room was clean though did have a distinct mildew smell you had to get used to. Ground floor Terrace would benefit from a ceiling fan to keep the bugs at bay. Overall a good stay and would recommend.

Great little resort, staff go out of their way to help you. The rooms were spotless, pool was lovely & it's situated only a 1 minute walk to the beach. Staff are there with loungers, umbrellas and cold water but will.gladly get bar drinks too. The only downside is there's no restaurant on-site, breakfast is light fare continental style but it's only a 5 minute walk to the main road where there's plenty of eating options.

We vacationed at Villa Del Mar from 2/20 to 2/24 and we were very happy with the accommodations. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The front desk really helped us with transportation issues and telling us about all the different dining options. It was great relaxing in the pool or jacuzzi after a full day of excursions.

Pros: right across the street from the beach, where they have their own section with chairs and umbrellas. Very convenient location to all the grace bay hotels and restaurants. 10 min walk to grocery store. Very friendly staff. Cons: -No gym. I had to pay $80 for the week for wrightfully fit which was 15 minute walk. -No on site restaurant, although right across the street is infiniti bar, solana, and several other great restaurants. -2 bedroom suite was a little small, and we didnt realize there was only one bathroom.

This is a beautiful, hidden gem. Well-maintained and beautiful and close to everything. It was great for us and our family. Got two rooms and they were spacious and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this property if you are looking for a nice resort. The rooms are in really poor condition (cracks in floor, picture frame wall art broken, shower fixtures broken) and thus overpriced for the area. And the location is across the street from the beach.

Villa Del Mar - Paradise, in Paradise
The people of the Turks and Caicos islands are a big part of what made our trip so special and easy, especially as first-timers there. The folks at Villa Del Mar were AWESOME! Just ask and you will receive, it's that simple. Down to earth, not judgy, and just super genuine and helpful staff. You can spend a LOT more money if you walk 100 steps from Villa Del Mar and stay ON the water, but I ask you.... Why in the world would you do that???!

We absolutely love the Villa Del Mar. We’ve stayed there twice. Reason it’s getting a 4 star is the service and the items in the room this time. We just had to request towels, wash clothes , cooking pans, toilet paper and etc. Outside of this particular thing, the rest of the resort area is amazing. We would stay there again.

The location is very nice. The room was very clean. The hot tub did not work the entire time we were there. Breakfast selection was limited. It would be nice if they offered at least some yogurt, or other breakfast items. We requested a room on a higher floor but we’re placed on the ground floor. Asked for a one hour later check out but it was denied.

The resort itself is not on the beach-which we knew. We reserved a 2 bdrm 2 bath & I called prior to arriving to confirm that. When we arrived I was told we couldn’t have booked a 2 bdrm 2 bath because they didn’t have that. If we wanted that we would have to pay $2500 more for our stay. We agreed & moved to the 4th floor in - wait for it- a 2 bdrm 2 bath. The rooms need updating & a deep clean. Our phone in the bedroom never worked. The sofa/chairs are stained & several of the drawers in dressers need repair/replacing. The pots & pans are non-stick & need to be replaced. The breakfast…. It was bread, a few pastries, oranges & bananas some days & stale cereal. A few juices from concentrate & watered down. A simple change to the breakfast would make it a nicer experience. Having a w/d was nice but no laundry supplies provided. Every day when the cleaning women came in we never could get a washcloth…. Seems like a little thing…. Also most days we had to call for hand towels. Their beach area (chairs & umbrellas) was supposed to have an attendant. He was not to be found several of our days. It didn’t matter much because you couldn’t get a clean towel from him because the only place to get a towel is the front desk. (Note I said “A” towel). The pool was nice & clean and mostly empty. They were in the process of sanding & restaining the chaise lounges. Most of the staff was very nice. I’d say if you know ahead of time these things you would enjoy your stay.

Beautiful room, we had a 2 bedroom suite. quiet area, off season and a lot of resorts and shops just opening up mid October. The pool was nice and very close to beach, across the street (more like a quiet lane). The only thing I didn't like was that apparently the guests before us had fed the local cats during their stay, and we had 4 of them hanging around our ground floor patio. We really couldn't use the patio because of this. I would definitely stay again, especially if you had family or wanted to cook some of your meals as the kitchen was well equipped. We walked to restaurants and found this convenient.
