"AMAZING resort -- THE place to stay"
Staff was so nice, courteous and knowledgeable. The resort was superb. Prices for dining were reasonable with options on beach or by pool. The room was amazing. Huge, clean and comfortable. The pool was great and they offer complimentary floats. Such a great experience. And it is minutes from everywhere. Walk to shopping, or use their complimentary bikes. 5 minute cab ride to any other resort for dinners. AMAZING

"Great place to stay and great vacation"
We have just returned for a 6 night stay at The West Bay Club. The hotel was great. What really made it fantastic was the Staff. they were amazingly helpful fun and very professional. What can you say about being on an island. the weather was great all be it a bit windy. there was plenty to do even when it was to windy for water sports. the Pool is small but nice and we really did not need more. Really I came all that way to see and be at the beach, which is unbelievable. The softest and whitest sand I have ever seen. Great to lay at and clear water that was great to swim in. One of the best things we did was the Caicos dream tours. very very well done tour. Too many great meals to list. This was a great trip for our family.

"Great stay!"
Great option in Provo! Clean and comfortable and loved every minute. The room was lovely and spacious, and we got a ton of use out of the kitchenette. I would definitely recommend getting a car to get around the island. Would highly recommend it!

"It was beyond our expectations"
It was amazing, very clean, stone throw from the beach and you walked through beautiful gardens to get to the beach. Both pools were kept up very well. The beach side bar and restaurant was an added plus, good food and an excellent meeting place in the evenings to share your daily adventures.

"Comfortable and affordable."
Clean, comfortable and affordable option to stay in Turks and Caicos. If you want to be close to the ocean, this place is not for you though. However most attractions and facilities are located a short drive distance. It will be really nice once the pool is completed.

"Quiet, Pretty, Relaxing"
We stayed at Ports of Call Resort for two nights, after spending seven on the extremely quiet island of Middle Caicos. We were wondering if we would experience culture shock after spending time in a duplex, with neighbours only half of the time, on a picture-perfect beach where the maximum number of people we saw in one day were nine! Ports of Call was a lovely resort for the transition to busier Provo. It was quiet, clean, with a beautiful pool and lots of pool chairs and tables. We didn't need to take advantage of the invitation, but guests are welcome to bring food from outside the resort (a great grocery store with deli is across the street) and eat at the tables around the pool; even heat up the food in the microwaves provided in the breakfast room. The continental breakfast was adequate, with pastries and toast, yogurt and freshly boiled eggs one morning, and additional cheese and ham served the next morning (or maybe we were too late for that the first morning, I'm not sure.) The staff were very welcoming and helpful, some maybe friendlier than others, but that is human nature not a reflection of the resort! We saw a variety of ages; most seemed to be there as couples, but there were a few young children. Provo is expensive, but for the relative price, this resort has all that we were looking for. I would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a group of tropical islands located about 650-miles southeast of Miami, FL. As part of the British monarchy, the islands have a long history of settlement, but currently have a home-rule government that was reinstated in 2012. The capital city of Cockburn Town and the largest city of Providenciales are where most of the people who live here reside.

When planning a trip, travelers find that most Turks and Caicos hotel deals are at properties located in the two main cities on Grand Turk Island. While staying at Turks and Caicos hotels, guests enjoy special meals unique to the islands including conch and spiny lobster entrees.

The islands' official language is English, but many natives also speak Creole. At many of the hotels in Turks and Caicos, guests listen to island music sung in both languages. Visitors to the islands find that the local ripsaw music, which is unique to these islands, is one of the top cultural offerings. Visitors watch native women weaving baskets, mats, and hats, and choose one of the best to bring home or use during their trip.
