"Great place to stay and great vacation"
We have just returned for a 6 night stay at The West Bay Club. The hotel was great. What really made it fantastic was the Staff. they were amazingly helpful fun and very professional. What can you say about being on an island. the weather was great all be it a bit windy. there was plenty to do even when it was to windy for water sports. the Pool is small but nice and we really did not need more. Really I came all that way to see and be at the beach, which is unbelievable. The softest and whitest sand I have ever seen. Great to lay at and clear water that was great to swim in. One of the best things we did was the Caicos dream tours. very very well done tour. Too many great meals to list. This was a great trip for our family.

"Great hotel, great location , clean rooms!"
I am very picky about room cleanliness . This hotel was very clean. The location on the beach was great! The pool was also very clean and great for small kids. I have a 2 & 4 year old and they loved every minute of this vacation. Bring lots of sunblock because the sun is strong . Also, bring dry items like cereal, bread, snacks, dish soap, laundry detergent etc. Food was very expensive. We never had a problem with waiting too long for food at the restaurants. One morning a maintenance guy was trimming palm trees and cracked open a coconut for my son. It was just a really nice, safe, wonderful resort!! We will definitely stay at the Alexandra again when we go back to that beautiful island. Just don't fly out on a Saturday! The airport was CRAZY !

"It was beyond our expectations"
It was amazing, very clean, stone throw from the beach and you walked through beautiful gardens to get to the beach. Both pools were kept up very well. The beach side bar and restaurant was an added plus, good food and an excellent meeting place in the evenings to share your daily adventures.

"Seven Stars"
Greeted on arrival with cool coconut towels and a refreshing drink. Form that moment on, the service and friendliness of the staff was exemplary. The hotel is based around a warm pool which is deep enough to swim and also suitable for youngsters. The rooms are beautiful and spotless and after a day on the beach by the turquoise sea, you can relax or eat by the beach or pool. So relaxing. The Island itself needs to clear the litter at the side of the streets when you get off the main roads and improve departure at the airport which was pretty chaotic. Otherwise, all fantastic.

"A place I would go back yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I booked this condo through expedia.com and thought it was a hotel but when we arrived, I realized it was a condo with house keeping service. The place was immaculate, spotless and totally comfortable. It was a one bedroom condo with a large eat in kitchen and family room all together where a queen size sofa can serve as a bed for 2 or as an armchair. The kitchen fully equiped even with a toaster! A lovely balcony facing the pool was waiting for us (wife and 2 kids). You have every day clean towels and room cleaning but you have to take care of your beach towels (provided but not replaceable with new ones so you have to do the laundry in the practical washer/dryer located within the condo). It is located one block away from the beach with assigned chairs (no umbrellas) for you. The beach closeby is gorgeous! Also, one block away from a walkable downtown (supermarket, shops, banks, cafes, restaurants, etc). The only setback is that as I did not know that it was a private condo, so when we arrived, nobody was waiting to check us in and I needed to call the office but somebody showed up in 5 minutes. The environment was great, very family oriented and with free parking inside the complex. My package included breakfast but actually, it consisted of a cup of coffee along with a muffin per person. Anyway, I would go back to the same place yesterday! A relaxing, comfortable and clean place in a strategic point within Grace Bay!

"Excellent resort for families with pre-teens/teens"
We have an outstanding time at the Regent Palms over an early March spring break. This resort is very nice and the service was great. It is best for families with kids who are no too young but it is very family friendly. It is not a huge resort like some of the all inclusives found in and around the Carribean so there is not the masses on the beach larger resorts deal with. There are plenty of activities to take advantage of and the beach is beautiful with clear water and excellent views. We will return to the Regent Grand.

As part of the British monarchy, the islands have a long history of settlement, but currently have a home-rule government that was reinstated in 2012. The capital city of Cockburn Town and the largest city of Providenciales are where most of the people who live here reside.

While staying at Turks and Caicos hotels, guests enjoy special meals unique to the islands including conch and spiny lobster entrees.

The islands' official language is English, but many natives also speak Creole. At many of the hotels in Turks and Caicos, guests listen to island music sung in both languages. Visitors to the islands find that the local ripsaw music, which is unique to these islands, is one of the top cultural offerings. Visitors watch native women weaving baskets, mats, and hats, and choose one of the best to bring home or use during their trip.
