"Fabulous vacations!"
It was the vacations to Paradise! Let's start by saying that at Turk & Caicos hardly ever rains! The Hotel Royal West Indies is the perfect hotel at the perfect location. Right in the middle of Grace Bay and on the Beach!. The Hotel is not a big all inclusive resort, it is more relaxed, quiet and located centered to everything else, which is exactly what we were looking for. It was super clean, the rooms were spacious, with kitchenette included washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. We stayed at the building that have the rooms ocean front and I will select the same room again!. From our patio we were able to accessed the beach. The Beach was perfect. I heard that this month of august is one of the best time of the year, the water is warm but refreshing, no rain, with a constant easterly breeze of 15 to 20 mph. We were able to eat at any restaurant with making reservations only the same day - this is not the case in season. We rented a car, which I recommend if you want to see more of the island; driving on the left was an adventure that I got used to right away. The Royal West Indies have two pools and jacuzzi, the pools are super clean, and fabulous. There is also a restaurant, we ate there one night, lobster night and it was great. We wanted to make sure that all nine nights we ate at a restaurant that was facing the ocean to see the beautiful sunset...there are plenty to choose from. I will definitely go back and to the same hotel...and same room!

"Very close to the beach!"
This was a great place for us! It is far enough away from everything to feel secluded and relaxing, but close enough to get to everything with a nice, short walk down the beach. If you're looking for a party this is not your place, however if you're looking to relax and enjoy the beach or a really nice pool area then STAY HERE! At no point did my wife and I have to wait, or have any trouble at all getting chairs or a hammock by the pool or the beach. They have plenty of space for everyone. It does not feel crowded like a lot of resorts do. We will stay here time and again.

"Very nice hotel on the best part of the beach!"
We stayed five nights and loved the location!! Our room overlooked the beach as well as the pool making it the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Would recommend this resort to anyone, perfect for young families, couples young and old. The staff were very friendly and professional. The only thing missing was bath robes. We spent a couple evenings in the water until sunset and going back to a nice air conditioned room called for a fluffy bath robe, next time I go I will bring my own! :)

"Most amazing hotel!"
Choosing a hotel for our honeymoon was a major task because we wanted something better than anywhere else we have been. Checking out pictures and reviews online led us to the gansevoort. It looked amazing and had fabulous reviews. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel looked exactly as it did online. It was as perfect if not more perfect than we expected. Staff was wonderful and made our stay even better. Food and drinks were excellent. There is nothing negative that I could say about turks & caicos and the gansevoort.

"Beautiful Hotel - Friendly Staff"
We have a family of 5 (kids: 16, 13, 10) After a lot of research, I wisely chose the Sands at Grace Bay for our family. Thank you to all of you who posted about this wonderful oceanfront resort. It was our first trip to Turks and Caicos. We are an active family and wanted a resort that offered all the fun within a tranquil, peaceful enviroment and The Sands did not disappoint. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a two bedroom oceanview room which was more space than we needed and my husband and son are both almost 6 ft.!! The beaches in front of the resort are incredible. The resort restaurant Hemingway's was delicious and prices are ok. My kids spent most of the day in the ocean and in the evening enjoyed the beautiful pool. We are from the northeast and have traveled to Hawaii, California, NJ Shore, most Carribean islands and the Mediterranean and hands down The Sands at Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos has been our best vacatoin ever. We will be back next year!!

"Wonderful stay!"
We have stayed at some amazing resorts and Beach House Turks and Caicos fits the same description. The only difference is that Beach House had a much more relaxed and less commercialized feel-which is a great thing! The staff could not be any more genuinely kind and helpful. The resort was impeccably clean. We ate breakfast and lunch at Beach House daily and dinner once, all were excellent. Beach House Turks and Caicos was absolutely perfect and can't wait to return someday.

"Best Hotel Value on the Island."
I just returned from a 7 night stay at Ports of Call with my two sons. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a complimentary rum punch. Our room was ready at check-in. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the air conditioning worked great! The desk staff was very helpful answering our numerous questions about where to eat, how to get there and whether or not it was in walking distance or if we needed a cab. Two of the desk staff in particular were very helpful, Letivia and Samuel. The bartender, Watson, also has plenty of useful information and makes the best rum punches on the island! They made us feel at home and made our trip very enjoyable. I booked this hotel on Expedia, and there were no surprises on my bill at checkout. The full hotel rate and all taxes were paid on my Expedia invoice.
