The hotel was hosting many families with small children when we visited and managed to provide prompt, attentive service despite the number of guests. The location was perfect for accessing the river walk and excellent restaurants.

The hotel property as such is quite nice and appears recently renovated. Somewhat awkward placement of the lobby on the 2nd floor. Convenient parking. Good breakfast. Absolutely disgusting dinner buffet that was supposed to be street food themed but which was so bad we would not eat it.

Price difference is about 20 euros due to the fact that part of the price is for the breakfast. When you book a room it is necessary that you fill in the correct number of persons staying in the room in order to calculate the correct price and get the right room type. Hope you visit us again! Noting too comfy
Good location right in the centre of the city. Breakfast is until 10 am only and on weekends we feel it should be until 11am, so we did not make it. Our room was very noisy due to some air flow issue and we had to argue to get another room which at the end we did get. Staff was average helpful and Hotel is of decent level but nothing to comfy...

The hotel charged way too much for the size of the room. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was really good. The room was small and lacked any appeal and $455 for two nights was way too much.

Great location, small rooms
The hotel is very well located for the sites of downtown Turku, including the Cathedral, and walking along the Aura River. If you have a car, the parking is very convenient, just a different floor of the same elevator that will take you to your room. My only problem with the hotel is that the rooms are very tiny. If you are there on your own, it's manageable, but if you put two people into the double room, there is really nowhere much for anything more than an overnight bag -- not the type of suitcase you'd have for say a 7-10 trip overseas.

Friendly reception
Very happy with the reception, but everything else was standard or below, including the breakfast and the lack of hot water and coffee at the room. Had a good view on the street though, and the room was very quiet.

We stayed for one night only. The room is spacious but the bed is uncomfortable. Because the mattress is light and slippery, I felt off from the bed and didn't sleep well.

Good quality and service
The hotel apprars to be in a bit of a rough area but it isn't at all. Literally a 2 minute walk from the river and some great bars and cafes. The hotel itself is typical Scandic. Modern with free wifi and all the services you'd expect. The breakfast was included in the price, buffet style and very good. Room was a decent size with good storage, bathroom a little small and shower only. Room and public area were spotlessly clean. All the staff were wonderful, polite and helpful. 12 minute walk from train station.

Hotel caters to families particularly with young children which sometimes made the atmosphere a bit caotic. Breakfast was very good. Staff all spoke English so we had no trouble communicating.

Super location in the middle of Turku
My perspective from an American female traveler who was traveling alone...I stayed here overnight so that I could catch an early flight from Turku to Stockholm. Room was typical European, clean and pleasant but not spotless. Air conditioned but not individually controlled so if you need a fan or white noise to sleep with or a cold room, It may be difficult to sleep. Street noise was pretty high on the third floor. Breakfast buffet was awesome with many selections to choose from. Front desk was very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. Taxi ran €24. Hotel is a block from the main market square and a block from the picturesque library area. Plenty to see and do nearby and dozens of restaurants in walking distance.

Good location, clean but entrance let’s it down
The room itself was fine although the bed was not the comfiest ever. The entrance is a bit off putting, it’s a bit dirty looking and can have people hanging around outside, once you get in the reception looks slightly dated but is clean and the staff helpful. Hotel is in a good location, close to train station and the river.

Good central position
Near to all amenities. Buses restaurants and shops. Supermarket underneath hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only negative is that I got charged 20 euros a night because my son was 14 and not classed as a child.
