Good basic hotel.Posted Dec 9, 2013
Pros: The staff & the food.
Cons: The heating. I'm used to a cool house but my room was borderline uncomfortably cold.
Location: Central. Shopping.
I stayed here for a few days on business. The staff are excellent, as is the food but the rooms are basic and mine was distictly chilly. There is a Sauna but I didn't use it. The hotel in a good central location, easy walking distance from the railway station. All in all, not bad but I'll probably try the other Scandic in town on my next visit.

Nice hotel on the shopping streetPosted Jul 23, 2012
Location: Great for shopping and sightseeing
The room was very nice and comfortable. The only minus was the air conditioning machine humming in the back yard towards which our windows were facing. But closed windows muffled the sound.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent choices at breakfast. Not too big and in a good location. (A bit noisy on Saturday night).

Good hotel in central locationPosted Sep 9, 2011 on Hotels.com
I only stayed here one night, but it was a good hotel. Wifi in the room, very central location, near station and main square. Good size room, friendly reception. I missed breakfast, so can't comment. All in all it was fine and I had a good night's sleep (which is rare for me!)

I went for a rave, this hotel gets a rave review.Posted Jan 11, 2011
I went to Turku to see the awesome DJ Proteus. This hotel was perfectly located 2 minutes walk from the Club, "Klubbi", and a short walk from the other sites I saw such as the cathedral and museums. The staff were always friendly, accomodating and professional. They helped me frequently with finding things around town and with my travel. The breakfast buffet was fantastic - no cold leftovers if you arrived an hour after the start, everything fresh. Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of space to relax in. Great bathroom for post-rave cleansing. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my mates.

Convenient hotel in the centre of TurkuPosted Nov 7, 2010 on Hotels.com
A nice, reasonably-priced hotel, friendly and helpful staff and a central location. Just two small problems: whoever made up the room had tried to use two single sheets to cover a larger sized bed, and keeping the window open at night meant I was listening to drunken shouts and what passed for singing, late into the night.

Amazing HotelPosted Sep 2, 2010 on Hotels.com
This is a very stylish hotel brandishing Brygmann's beautiful architecture and period modernist decor. Everything about our stay was exquisite, tasteful, comfortable and the balcony view (with double French doors) was wonderful. Right across the street from Stockmann's, so getting tasty treats and food for entire meals was a breeze as was a shopping. A must-stay in Turku!

Good locationPosted Jul 12, 2009
A well located hotel off the main square. No air conditioning but the weather was exceptional when I was there. A fan was supplied. Splendid choice of food at breakfast.
