Not very clean

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: The hotel is close to the main highway and also provided easy access to the University of Alabama which we went to visit.
Cons: The bathroom, walls, etc., could be cleaned MUCH better than they were. The staff could also try to be more helpful and friendly.
We found that the room wasn't very clean, nor was the bathroom. The front desk person wasn't very accommodating at first but then was nicer later on.

Older hotel. Fairly clean.

Small bathroom. Bed tipped when you sat on it. Breakfast buffet was disappointing. Desk staff, though not unpleasant, did not go out of their way to be friendly or helpful. I had to check in after lobby hours and the walk-up window was not the least bit inviting and the staff member seemed almost as if I was bothering her.

Dear Traveler, We sincerely apologize for the size of the bathroom. We also apologize that the bed 'tipped'. This is caused when the box spring slides off the frame it sits on. Very simple to fix, had we known about it. We will speak to all the audit personnel on staff here and deal with them accordingly. Again, please accept our apologies. Baymont Inn of Tuscaloosa

Close to University and restaurants and Highway

Posted Dec 15, 2013
Pros: Very near to everything a traveler would need.
Cons: I have nothing to complain about.
Location: Close to the University of Alabama
The Baymont Inn was clean with cable TV which had the Fox News Channel. It was very close to the University where I took my daughter for an introduction tour for the fall school year. It was also close to many restaurants and a Movie Theater. Breakfast was serve yourself. You could make a waffle or just have rolls and muffins and cereals. I ate at the Waffle House next to the hotel. The hotel only has double beds in one room. My daughter had to sleep with her mother which would have been better in a Queen Bed. I would return to this hotel in the future.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I think you can decide
First room: broken lamps, no tv remote, toilet stopped up. We reported the toilet and told them we had a conference to go to and would not be in the room when they came. We returned later that night and it was not fixed. We moved to another room. Still had broken lamps but ok for the night. Left for conference next morning. Returned later that afternoon and room had not been cleaned. We'll, we had two clean towels lefts so ok. Going to turn light off for bed and a mouse ran out from under the bed!!! I heard the mouse all night in the trash and running on he counter! We checked out!!!!
