“Great for 1 or 2 people for 2 nights”

Room was not ready, but I arrived early. Cracker Barrell was next door so I went there and ate lunch & shopped. Room still not ready, but again I was still early. I sat in the lobby and read a book and they were giving me continual updates which I did not solicit - I was not in a hurry. As soon as my room was ready - still early - I went upstairs & was greeted by the cleaning crew who apparently knew I was on my way up and they very graciously opened my door and helped me get things in the room. The next morning I went to use the iron, which did not work. Appeared someone had dropped it. I called and immediately a replacement was at my door. I only ate the continental breakfast once. The sausage links were the best I have ever tasted. This is not a fancy place but I had all I needed including free internet and free parking. My only dissappointment - there was a very bright light on a pole in front of my window & I could not look out at night. Certainly not something to complain about.

“Very friendly staff”

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The continental breakfast in the morning was well thought out. And the food was good. The location was extremely convenient to our plan. All of the rooms were a short walk from the lobby. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel for a short stay.

“Just Fine”

Not luxury by any means but served us well for a football weekend. Staff was nice and the free breakfast was surprising good.

“Good Value for Price”

The hotel was a surprising delight - and more than we expected for the price. Beds were feather soft, serivce was prompt, complimentary breakfast was plentiful. The only real downside was the distance from Tuscaloosa/UA and an older a/c unit that was a little tough to control. Overall, great value for price!

“Pet friendly and convenient to Tuscaloosa”

We chose this hotel because it was close to Tuscaloosa and because we could stay there with our dog. The hotel is adequate, could use some updating and maintenance. Took advantage of the breakfast and Cracker Barrel is right next door if you want to eat there.

“fair option”

Room was fairly clean. Both beds had cigarette burn holes in them. However, bed was comfortable. Will stay again, because no other option.

“Business trip”

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and addressed me by name each time I entered or exited the facility. It wasn't dirty, but you could tell it was old and they tried to renovate it, but they could have done a much better job. The security latch on my door didn't make me feel the most secure, but it was there. It was an ok stay, but I'll make sure my manager books a nicer hotel for that price next time.
