The staff was super helpful; they offered directions, recommendations and beverages and snacks to us as soon as we arrived. The room was very large and roomy.

Great location

Posted May 24, 2015
I love the location off the main highway and no traffic noise. We were able to take a peaceful walk with few cars on the road. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay there again the next time I am on that route.

Nice hotel....20 minutes from Uof Alabama

Posted May 12, 2015
I was looking for something closer to the U of A because we were there for a college visit and tryouts and it seemed this would fit the bill. Not sure how I missed the fact it's as far away as it is. That being said, the hotel is obviously newer. Everything is in very good condition. We had a room with 2 queen size beds. The room was big and there was plenty of room for a roll away type bed to be brought in which we did do for 1 night. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is very good. It was the best part of the room. The room was very comfortable! If you need a 3rd bed you can contact the front desk and they will bring it up to you complete with sheets and a blanket. It cost $20 for 1 nite. Not bad. There are free cookies at the front desk which hit the spot when we checked in. There is also a stand-up cooler with glass doors stocked with free coke, sprite, diet dr pepper, diet coke, etc. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. It had coffee, milk, juice, bagels, cereal, yogurt etc. if you want something hot for breakfast you will have to go out for it. There is no pool and the exercise room has some Dumbbells and some cardio equipment. You will get only the most basic cardio workout in there. While in Tuscaloosa I worked out on campus at the Rec. For $10 it's hard to beat! Our stay was quiet and we had no problems. Graduation was the weekend before so there were not many folks staying there. I was told they sell out for football games and graduation

Nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel when I moved my daughter out of her dorm room at University of Alabama. It was clean and the staff was cordial. It is a reasonably priced option if attending any events at UA - about 20 minutes away.

We had to change rooms due to some sort of mechanical noise. The Front desk clerk was very helpful and professional.

I loved it. Was able to gain great access to the Selma Jubilee Bridge Crossing.
