No elevator!!

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR I. THE STUDIO BLDG!!! I was on the 2nd floor and had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs!! There was a bug crawling across the table and the dishes were obviously still dirty as they had spots of dried food on them and the countertop had juice stains. Bed was comfortable. Shower curtain was too short. Staff was nice but eventhough I called and asked for a room at the very end of the hall and was told that i would get it, I did not get it. And the worst part was, I PAID FOR A KING AND GOT A QUEEN INSTEAD. No refund of price difference and no attempt to correct the error was made. Stay somehere else! Don't waste your time w this place!!

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything could stand an improvement: service, check-in process, and room cleanliness.
The office is located in the back building. Upon entering there was a line of 5 people in front of me to check in. There check in area is not a counter or front desk area, rather an office were they have you sit down in a chair. I felt like I was signing an apartment lease, instead of checking in for a one night stay. The check-in process is rather timely, which is why it took 25 minutes for me to get a room key! I was then told that my room was located in the building across the parking lot. After gathering all of my belongings from my car, I proceeded to my room in the other building. My room key did not work. A maintenance man saw my frustration and offered to open my room for me. The room was full of someone else's belongings! I had to carry my belongings across the parking lot to the other building where the office was located and wait in line again! The employee said she must have written down the wrong room. The room was not clean. I returned around 11pm. The sprinkler system was on so in order to enter the front building I had to get wet as it was spraying the door. Bring your own cup! There are no disposable cups offered to rinse your mouth or get a drink of water. The only cups are in the kitchen area, with a sign on the cabinet that reads: "Dishes washed but not professionally sanitized". EWW! Stay across the street at the Microtel. It's the same price and has better service and rooms.

Close to U of A campus

Pros: Close to campus and quite.
Cons: minor repairs
Location: close to campus, shopping, and places to dine
Overall good. A couple of repairs were needed: bathroom shower faucet missing screws was taped to secure, toilet paper holder missing part so paper was sitting on toilet bowl tank. The drain plug was not secure and dirty. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

Close to campus but dated. My room didn't smell great but a Fabreeze strip plus the low price made it a great deal.

Paid expedia in full for hotel and receipt charge an American Express that was not mine 69 dollars noticed it when I got home

There was no soap in the room. We requested additional linen but never received it. They told us that there would be free continental breakfast, but only coffee and bagels.

Close to everything in town!

Pros: The kitchenette
Cons: Nice, big bathtub!
Had a good time, my husband and I spent the night for our anniversary, and done a little shopping, ate, then came back to room to relax!

Stayed one night. Been there before. Breakfast was not much to talk about and there is no pool but I knew that already.

Dirty room

When we pulled the covers back on the bed it looked like a dog had rolled around there was so much hair on the sheets. Clearly they had not been changed so we had to call for fresh sheets.

Awful room

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Knock it down.
The room smelled and was not clean. The furniture was filthy. I will never stay there again. My wife may never speak to me again.
