The hotel was close to the main roads with easy access. The room was clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was adequate.

“For a low-priced motel, a very comfortable room”

Honestly, Super 8 Motel was my only choice as all the Tuscaloosa motels and hotels were booked for UA's Family Weekend (which coincides with the opening home football game of the season) so I really didn't have high expectations. The motel is plain looking, and it is located right beside the interstate so I expected it to be noisy - but I wasn't troubled by noise (although the air conditioner probably masked the highway sounds.) It doesn't have an elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs you'll need to request ground level. The grounds around the motel were clean, the hallways looked freshly painted, and I didn't note any unpleasant odors. The real surprise was the room itself - it was attractive and nicely furnished with two comfortable double beds and a large mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom was outstandingly clean, which is the most important thing to me, and each day it was nicely maintained by housekeeping. So keeping in mind that this is a Super 8 Motel, not a top of the line hotel or a resort destination in any way - for the money I would highly recommend it as a no-frills spot to have a roof over your head and a comfortable place to spend a night or two in Tuscaloosa.

I stayed here for a night while on a road trip from Texas to Georgia. The staff got me checked in with no major issues and were very polite. My room was a bit cold, but it was summer, so no big deal. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, a few gas stations along the street, and the hotel is just off of I-20. I didn't use the internet there, so I couldn't tell you about that. The bed was very comfy, so I was well rested the next day. All in all, this is a very good place to stop if you're on a long road trip!

Nice room with freg, microwave, lounge chair and tv, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, would have prefered the first floor but the sencond was fine.

“CLEAN IN TUSCALOOSA”

This hotel was very clean and had been remodeled. Very Comfortable beds, its nice for the money and to lay your head down, sleep and shower. Would recommend for a BAMA game or a Concert! Staff VERY VERY friendly!!

“Inexpensive and simple”

It's an inexpensive hotel so you can't expect too much, but they went WAY over the top with Fabreeze type odor control in the room, it was overpowering and the air conditioner was ridiculously loud. Other than those two things it was just fine.
