Getting around

Roads are not in great conditions, make sure that your rental car is in excellent conditions, very important to check in tires. It is better to stay overnite in one place, do not try to go back and forward between sites, distances are very long, almost every place has an hotel.

“Hotel in an acropolis”

The maids need to have inservice training on how to clean the rooms. The maid who cleaned our room never vacuum the room the whole 8 days we were there. She just cleaned the bath room and changed the linen and dusted the furniture some. I dropped a few things on the rug and were never vacuumed. She should have a check list on amenities that needed to be replaced. I always have to call to replenish the amenities in my room (fifth floor, the executive that have lots of amenities) . The servers and the front desk shouuld get their heads together. The server checked with his captain that the breakfast was included in the room charges but found out on check out that it wasn't. Very confusing. Otherwise, the hotel is pleasant and comfortable and the bell boys are superflous.

Family-friendly activities

They have swimming pool and entertainment for kids. Though for senior or elder folks, walking back to the hotel might be a challenge. It's uphill. Use cabs for easy transport to hotel.They are inexpensive.

“great hotel and very nice people”

The hootel is very pretty, the food is great and the people is very nice. I just would like to have more activities for kids and a warm pool because it was very cold and my little kid could not use it and we had to look for other activities.

“Good experience, but they can do better”

The place is cool, great city view (if in the appropriate room I guess, but we had a great panoramic of the city), and the staff was great at all times. Great room service, and you have it 24-hours a day. What really bothered me was the fact that I couldn't sleep due to many mosquitoes. I know its a humid and hot place, but the hotel should do something in order to guarantee comfort. The fact of having many trees and the pool in the middle of the facility favors mosquitoes population, so some kind of contention should be in place.

Well, anytime you go to TG, you should visit El Sumidero Canyon and look for places with regional food. Always a pleasure.

“Disappointing Stay”

My husband and I spent the first night of our honeymoon in this hotel, and we were thoroughly disappointed. Check-in went well, but upon arriving in our room, we were certainly not impressed. The room was small, simple, and very basic. For the price I had expected much more. The bathtub was small, old, and leaked. There were no bottles of water. There was a small coffee maker, but no coffee. When I called to request coffee, I was told that I could buy a cup in the restaurant if I wanted to. I had to ask 3 times before they finally gave me coffee for the coffee maker. All night long there was noise and hollering in the hallways. I was very upset with our stay and certainly will not go back until major changes are made.
