Well balanced
I would say it’s the kind of place exactly to expect in such a quiet little town like San cristobal de las Casas. Just the right distance away from the main tourist street. The hotel is quiet, clean, rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable. And if you have a rental this a no brainer for the parking is quite spacious and safe. Maybe the only downside is the Wi-Fi is poor as in practically all the town. Breakfast is ok, but there are many more delicious restaurants nearby.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY!! Recommended
This hotel is awesome. The staff is extremely friendly and catering. They have on site parking, which is great considering the streets are super narrow and easy to have the rental hit. Rooms are spacious, clean and have running hot water. The property has many open areas and sits in a colonial Hacienda style, which make it very enchanting. The property is located about 12 minute walk from the main strip in San Cristobal, the Cathedral or Guadalupe church. Everything is walking distance from here. There is a store accross the street to buy necessities or snacks, a laundry place around the corner and many eateries within walking distance. The hotel’s restaurant is also a good option for food. Highly recommend this place and will stay here upon our return trip to San Cristobal!

The old colonial-style architecture is really beautiful. My only complain is that there is no A/C and even tho its supposed to be “cold” at night, i kept sweating through the whole night.

Dress warmly for San Cristobal
Building is cold. Hot water takes several minutes, but does arrive. Good breakfast.

It is the first time I that I was told that heating is not included in the price. The hotel has a lot of potential under different management attitude.

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds in a convenient location. Oh, plenty of secured parking in a neighborhood where parking is limited. One tiny thing... wish they had a light on the closet area... it was very dark and I couldn't see my stuff without shining my phone in there. Really, very good

Chose the hotel for the fact it had gated off street parking, and it turned out to be beautiful. Lovely gardens, pleasant rooms and good value. Definitely recommend.

Perfect match in price and quality
This hotel has actually all the benefits that any traveler look for in his journeys. It is perfectly located few blocks to the central park and the cathedral, has beautiful gardens, a quite good restaurant (no pretentious but more than enough) with fare prices, and large rooms with comfortable beds and typical Mexican decoration. The place is quite, and you can relax in its beautiful gardens, with the sound of the fountains in the surrounding. Service is kind and answer to any need that you can have during your stay, Decoration is beautiful, mixing the old Mexican fashion with all the modern facilities. I highly recommend this hotel. Its cost is less than you can imagine for such a great conditions and services.

Picturesque Hotel
The room was small and the wifi never worked. After the third day it started working in the lobby area. The hotel has nice gardens. It has free parking which was good and handy. San Cristobal is a beautiful place and the hotel is like 5 minute walking distance to the Andador

Worst place to Stay in San Cristobal...
Beautiful Hotel, horrible service. First Day, asked for toilet paper, never arrived until next day. Because hotel in the halls has no rugs, you could hear when people arriving and leaving with their luggage wheels; also the cleaning people. The beds have a protection plástic so every time you moved you could hear the plastic. Internet works sometimes. Next day in dinning room, pounding very loud, workers hitting outside wall, preparing wall for paint. Arriving to room, no towels; maids forgot to put towels in room. Internet not working, complain to front desk; no solution. Worst service I have ever experience.

Where's the hot water?
Beautiful, traditional style hotel average to good rooms. Loved everything, except, two rooms didn't have hot water, & it took them a while to even check. Said let it run for a while - so we did with no results. Pilot had gone out on the water heater, & seems like a regular occurrence. Don't know why they don't have someone check each morning. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.

We only stayed one night but found it to be comfortable and the setting quite pleasant plus a good location to walk to town. The coffee in the restaurant was not very good....we were hoping for some good Chiapas coffe to start the day.

Well-staffed hotel/restaurant near Real Guadalupe
2 nights, 1/15-1/17/2015. Courteous & professional staff, easy check-in and check-out with concierge. On-site restaurant is very professionally run & has a good menu - especially handy for early or late meals when other nearby restaurants might be closed. Hotel is just 4 short blocks away from Real Guadalupe, one of the major pedestrian shopping/restaurant zones. Hotel provides purified water not just in carafes inside the rooms, but also provides it in 5-gallon bottles is strategically placed in common hallways outside the rooms-- a convenience we really appreciated. We enjoyed 2 of the common living-room-type areas, one of which provides a computer for those guests who cannot access the hotel's WiFi with their own devices. We had no problems with the unheated rooms that other commenters found uncomfortable; we just used the extra blanket the hotel provides in each room. However, those guests who are cold-sensitive might consider bringing some thermal underwear for increased comfort if they visit this lovely place during winter season.

No dan la suite por la que pagas.
No me dieron la habitación por la que habia pagado me dieron otra de menor costo y no me reenbosaron la diferencia dijeron que eso era problema de la pagina. El servicio es lento apesar de no tener mucho ocupacion. Las toallas del baño muchas estaban manchadas y las cobijas de la cama tambien.

Ahora durante la pandemia, este hotel ofrece espacios al aire libre con un jardín hermoso y un restaurant agradable y con precios accesibles para no tener que ir al centro donde parecen no tener ningún protocolo de mantener la sana distancia ni usar cubrebocas. Aunque hacía mucho frío en la noche, habían cobijas suficientes para dormir cómodamente. Aunque está dentro de la ciudad, hubo silencio y muy poca gente, muy poco ruido para descansar bien. Muy buena experiencia por el precio económico....
