“Snow Trip 2010”
This was our snow trip for 2010. Our plan was to snowboard and ski at Dodge Ridge and stay locally, this year staying in a nicer place. Well, we found it at the Lazy Z. We had a nice cabin with pleny of room, a kitchen, TV, WiFi, etc. Our 3 teens really enjoyed the place, especially when it snowed in the morning. It looks like it would be a great place to visit in the summer too. We would definately stay here again.
“lovely place to get away form it all”
We found the Lazy Z to be a fantastic place to stay. Their 'water feature' was most welcome due to the heat wave we had. Even though we were expecting cabins, the motel like room was near the clubhouse and was quite comfy and private. Not the place to stay if wanting to visit Yosemite, as it was a 2and half hour drive. We are from Australia and had no idea of the distance. In saying this it is a lovely place to stay if you want to get away from it all, friendly staff and lovely location. You will need a car.
“Not worth the price”
We stayed for my brothers wedding. My Fiance dropped me off at rehearsal and went to check in and take a shower because he was in dirty work clothes. When he finally found the cabin (no internet service for google maps to load) he tried to open the lock box but it wouldn't budge. He drove to the resort and no one was there to help him. When he finally got ahold of me (I had bad reception) I called and got ahold of someone. He came to the cabin and gave us a key. This cabin would have been worth the price if it were actually a "cabin". It was placed in the middle of town, no true privacy. We couldn't even sit on the front deck without people looking or listening to our conversation. Also, the bed was awful. It had to have been 20-30 years old! We could feel the springs when we laid on it. The shower was tiny (only big enough for one). So all in all, it was acceptable but not worth the price!!!
