Our unit has no windows on lounge area and the bedroom window was closed and facing a dirty closure. The swimming pool was too small for all guests without a shade and four sun beds , no umbrellas and a small table with four chairs. The only good thing about this place is the location. This accommodation is the most disgusting place that we have ever stayed. From the dishes needing to be washed before we could use them, the floors both tiles and carpet being absolutely disgusting the whole place is in urgent need of a deep clean. Mould on the blinds, filth in the entrance area and rat poo under the lounge! The carpark has no ventilation and we measured 40 degrees C. On a day where the outside temperature was 24 Deg. C. The stench in the carpark is shocking. The entire building needs pressure washing, repairs and painting; and new management judging by the previous reviews. Staff on arrival were friendly. We will never stay here ever again!

We checked in late and were given a code to retrieve the keys from the after hours vault. However, the code did not work due to some payment issue between hotels.com and the property. Fortunately the property manger was kind enough to answer our message on the emergency number late at night and promptly came over to hand us the keys and said she would resolve the payment issue the next day. Thereafter, it was all smooth and comfortable. Excellent location on the boardwalk, beautiful view. Strongly recommend a stay here.

Our unit was enormous, you could convert part of the lounge to a bedroom but wasn’t sure what you sleep on. Pool is in the middle so echoes a bit when kids playing. There could have been some more signs for the room, getting out of the lift I wasn’t sure which staircase to take and then which way to go. Missing hairdryer and office didn’t have a spare. Great after hours checkin and instructions

Property was not cleaned well, hair in bathroom, cutlery glasses & crockery not clean, ceiling fan in main bedroom dirty, rangehood falling off, kitchen sink tap sprays water when in use, cupboard in kitchen off its hinges, screen door in main bedroom could not be locked, double sliding doors into bedroom not secure on a track. Have stayed here before but this time was not impressed with the room and the cost.

Excellent position and property with views to die for. The rooftop spa was disappointing as it needed work done to the spa to make it user-friendly. There was a bad odour coming from under the spa making it not an enjoyable experience. I would still give the property 4 out of 5 stars

The location is excellent, close to the ocean, and lots of cafes and shops. Very spacious apartment and friendly reception staff. It was a very hot week weather-wise so the apartment was warm and stuffy because the air con couldn’t cope but other than that it was comfortable for our needs.

Thus was a return visit. After the first time we didn’t think we would stay head again as there were many issues with cleanliness, comfort etc. decided to give another try as location is great. Unfortunately no improvement. Blood on tiles in shower and wall. Public hairs on floor around toilet. Furniture very old and not at all comfortable . Very very tired property, in much need of a really good clean, paint and spruce up.

Our family would return here because the location is perfect. Our late check-in was easy. Otherwise, the property needs a bit of work; a general tidy-up to remove the 'junk' from the cupboards would be a good start. Communication with the property manager was pretty average.

Kingscliff is a lovely place to visit and the Paradiso resort is well positioned to take advantage of all the town has to offer. Like other reviewers, however, we found the accommodation to be unclean. Although this was rectified when we raised it, it seems like there is an ongoing pattern of uncleanliness (given the multiple reviews that raise this issue) that needs to be addressed.

We were really disappointed as our apartment was cancelled within a few Weeks of Xmas. The rest of our extended family were all staying there so we were unable to spend time with them We were able to rebook at north coast as the cost of anything in Nsw was prohibitive with the notice we got. Thankfully as this was our only 5 days off as a family for the year.

We stayed in a rooftop spa apartment, which costs a fair bit more than the standard rooms. The view of the ocean from our room and from the roof where the spa is was beautiful and definitely worth the extra money. The room lacked a few things such as tea towels and the dryer lint filter was missing, but overall it was in okay condition. The standard rooms that we saw all had white plantation shutters at the front near the walkway thoroughfares and did not offer privacy for the people staying in them if they wanted a breeze in their rooms. I probably wouldn't stay in one of those rooms. Keep in mind that the pool is very small so you will do most of your swimming at Kingscliff beach or in Cudgen Creek. I highly recommend bringing a mask and snorkel to swim along Cudgen Creek as the fish love to congregate between the boat ramp and the mouth of the river. There are many tropical fish to observe and it's great for kids. The reception hours are not very long, so make sure you arrive early and don't make inquiries after business hours. Don't forget to make sure you have the wifi password when you collect your key. We forgot to ask and there are no information books about the apartment or the area in the unit at all. We had to phone and ask as it wasn't included in the key package like it was meant to. Overall, I would probably return to Paradiso and certainly to Kingscliff as it is a beautiful place away from heavy traffic and it has many great restaurants to eat at.

I was overcharged even though I queried the cost Prior. I still have not been refunded. I was not the only one this happened to. I could hear a man vomiting upstairs another having an angry argument, the traffic was loud. For the price of the room, I expected a better experience and the room could have a bit of an update.

Room 24 fridge had beetroot juice stain in fridge and underneath the couch was really dirty. On leaving I check under couch for kids toys. There a half broken glass. Not very safe.

It was ridiculous that we got relocated to a totally different property (in Cabarita). This new property was nowhere near as good and is much cheaper. All we got was a late check-out, even though we asked for a credit to be used in the future for the difference. The property also had bad bedding and was dirty.

Spacious 3 bedroom apartment. But - not communication booklet anywhere with any info on who to contact/what’s in the area etc. The shower drains were blocked with hair from previous tenants. Not a lot of natural light. Water everywhere outside all the time from the water features - that don’t really serve any purpose. Place was very clean and well presented. Only minor issues as stated above.

Checking in was unacceptable. When we arrived we were advised that the apartment would not be available at check-in time. When we returned at 3.00pm (the indicated time) and given access to the apartment we found that it had not been serviced since the previous user left; the bed linen had not been changed, dirty towels were on the bathroom floor and floors had not been cleaned. After a very strong complaint were were relocated to the adjoining apartment where we found that the kitchen breakfast bench had not been acceptably cleaned. WE HAVE PHOTOGRAPHS SUPPORTING WHAT IS WRITTEN HEREIN.

The bathroom's were filthy needed a good scrub not just a wipe down, the grout had mould and soap scrum throughout both showers and the floors under the lounge hadn't been vac or moped there was still mess from a previous occupant that hadn't been moped up and was dry and sticky, also around the edges like kick boards and laundry needed a good clean.

Lovely location. Property is showing signs of age, wear and tear. Water damage to ceiling room 344, and pebble tiles missing in common areas. These things could be easily rectified and would improve the overall appeal of the property.

Great place to stay with all the facilities and amenities provided. Beautiful area and close to beach with shopping and dining options at your fingertips. Check in times limited and request to provide credit card and identification documents on the day of the stay when already in transit being impractical. Maybe these details could be requested prior to the day's check in. Wonderful rooms with the only concern being the antiquated air conditioning units. Generally a thumbs up for the accommodation.
