Staff was very accommodating. I had been driving for 18 hours and asked for a late check out when I arrived at 11pm and the woman at the front desk gladly have me a 12pm check out which allowed me to get a much needed rest. Good location to Joshua Tree National Park. beautiful scenery.

Great place to stay in Yucca Valley, CA

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel, including ease of access from the street.
I was in town to visit my son for the first time since he had moved to Yucca Valley. He wasn't set up for guests and I like to get up early so a hotel close by was ideal. Everyone I ran into here was very friendly and helpful and it was very easy to get from there to his place. The room was perfect - tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean. I will definitely arrange to stay there again the next time I visit.

Clean and convenient. We spent three days hiking and bouldering in Joshua Tree and used this business hotel as base camp.

Disappointing

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The staff were great. They were friendly and helpful. Each shift was great. The breakfast provided was also great. Every public area was keep clean.
Cons: The male day manager could of handle the refrigeration problem alot better. People need to stay hydrated in the desert.
On our trip we stay at many hotels. Had just left the Marriott/Clarion in Santa Clarita and had a wonderful experience. We came to this Best Western for a family reunion/weddding. It was in the desert and farily warm for April. The staff is great and hard working. When we went to our room is where the disappointment started. There was no refrigerator in our or any of our other families rooms. This is the desert where it is hot and very dry. When asked by the manager about the refrigerator, a slight arguement occured. We were told that this Best Western was not obligated to provide a refrigerator. There was a spot for it in the furnishings. There was nothing but a gaping hole there. Even in a modest hotel a refrigerator is provided. It was the manager that gave us this information and was he was not "customer service" friendly about this subject. He offered a small styrafoam chest that held one bottle of water in it. This did not set the tone well. Also I was wearing white socks in my room and did not notice until I took them off that the bottom of my socks were black. Each time I changed my sock the next pair were black. After that I did not feel good about the carpet and what might be in it. We left and had to stay in another Best Western in Tehachapi Ca. This hotel was fantastic. Everything we needed was provided for us in our room.

Clean and orderly

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Conveniently located to Joshua Tree National Park.
Cons: Air conditioning unit not good. Set temp to 72 & when room temp reaches 74 the unit goes on and blows cold air at head of bed. No way to control air.
Location: Joshua tree National Park is great.
We had a pleasant stay. The staff was courteous.

Good value for the cost

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Location: -Reasonably close to Joshua Tree National Park -Several restaurants nearby
The hotel met our needs for the price: comfortable room, wireless internet in the rooms, decent breakfast included, and several nearby restaurants. The hotel was relatively close to one of the entrances to Joshua Tree National Park. As a nice touch, cookies were baked in the afternoon and put out.
