Location: In addition to Joshua Tree we found Desert Christ Park (56200 Sunnyslope Dr. Yucca Valley) to be worth stopping at.
Had a very nice stay here, clean, comfortable and close to Joshua Tree National Park. In glancing at other hotels on our way to and from the park we realized we picked the right place to stay...appeared from the outside at least, to be one of the nicer hotels in town.

A nice welcoming hotelPosted Jun 19, 2013
Pros: Great staff and lemonade in lobby
Cons: No fridge in room
Location: Close to Joshua Tree Park and all services
The staff were excellent and they provided a glass of lemonade on arrival which on a 105 degree day was very appreciated. The laundromat was reasonably priced and the room comfortable. The only issue was that our room had no fridge and most best western hotels have a fridge as a standard item. The breakfast was ok and overall a good experience

Disappointed....Posted May 25, 2013
Cons: see above
Location: Joshua Tree
Well I'm still waiting for Gary the manager to return my two phone calls, but in a nutshell, I wasn't given the room that I initially reserved with the company, even though the rep assured me everything was all booked and set for our party. I'm not even completely sure why we go through all the trouble of getting the room just right, to suit our needs when the word 'reservation' isn't taken seriously by the hotel and doesn't stand by it's word leaving the guest with the raw end of the deal. Of course, when the shoe is on the other foot and the guest has the responsibility of canceling a room within 24 hours 'exactly', not one hour less!, the guest is meant to pay for said reservation....'IN FULL' (also happened to us, with our 2nd room, 1 hour into the 24 hr period due to our 2nd party getting called back into work) So, I'm not sure how this is gonna play out, but I can't honestly say our stay was not 'as advertised', and it ultimately impacted our experience in the hotel. This would be all honest criticism and important feedback of overall customer satisfaction if the hotel was genuinely interested and have the courtesy to call me back.

Best motel near Joshua Tree National Park.Posted May 5, 2013
Pros: Breakfast. (Don't have to drive the family to eat and then return.) Availability of pool
Cons: Bathroom door should not close automatically--too heavy for seniors. No nightlight in bathroom. Better makeup lighting.
Location: National Park.
Everything was ready and didn't have to wait. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely. They had picked up my granddaughter's "noodle" and kept it when she forgot it in the lobby.

Moderately priced hotel near Joshua TreePosted Apr 28, 2013
Location: Convenient to Joshua Tree National Park
We don't normally stay in Best Western hotels, but this was really our only decent hotel option with a moderate price range outside of Joshua Tree National Park. This hotel is very conveniently located and there are many shopping and restaurant options in the area. We had a deluxe room and it was surprisingly spacious. Complimentary continental breakfast was a nice bonus. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the towels. There was an overwhelming odor of mildew in the shower and there were some pieces of hair on the counter and sink. Also, all of the towels had stains on them.

Don't come hungry!Posted Feb 18, 2013
Pros: The staff was great!
Cons: Breakfast and parking were not great.
Location: Easy to find as it's the only building in the area that is more than a single story ranch home. :)
The Staff was very nice and polite, extremely helpful. The hotel is the only real hotel out in that part of the desert, so regardless of price, lack of parking, the breakfast room swarming with kids and fruit loops everywhere, it was acceptable.
