“Just Perfect !”

The hotel was just perfect ! A little swimming pool in the desert, a hot tub, the lady in charge very kind, a shared cooking place, a nice room, everything was perfect ! And a place where U2 was (Jooshua Tree) !

“"a calm in a busy world"”

we were in the area to go to joshua tree, and this was the perfect place to stay to reinforce the serenity of the park. the owner of the motel - "ash" was very gracious and friendly and it was a delight to stay "off the beaten track" in a small place where you actually dealt with the owner instead of the giant hotels where you are just a number. she was charming and made our stay a memorable one. her motel was quaint and reminded me of what motels where like before the "chains" sprung up. it felt like a slice of old california, rustic and homey. the view of the mountains was beautiful and ash was very helpful with ideas for good local places to eat, hike and just enjoy ourselves.

“Great value for the area”

This hotel is not a chain, so one cannot expect the amenities of one. Having said that, I found it to be clean, comfortable, with elements of charm not found in larger hotels. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there were numerous cable channels, the shower had ample hot water and clean linens. The hotel sits on a rise just outside of the main town area, so views of the night time stars and the morning desert sunrise are spectacular. In my mind only two improvements could be offered, a stronger wireless signal and a coffee pot in the room. But the reasonable price, comfort and quiet charm make up for those two minor gripes.

“Relax in the high desert”

Harmony Motel is a fun slice of Joshua Tree history. The rooms are simple but large and pleasant to be in. We stayed last year when my sister visited and made a point to stay this year with our visiting friends. Ash (the owner) is very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The pool and spa are a welcome touch. The Harmony motel has just the right blance of basic 50s motel and chic touches to be right for a stay in the high desert

“Cute & eclectic”

Small boutique like motel with rock n' roll history. Owner operated. Don't count on late arrival. Overall nice stay. Don't forget to enjoy hot tub at night.. AWESOME!
