Nice Stay

My bed was extremely comfortable. Room was clean and spacious My overall stay was nice, I'm thinking the room was previously a smoking room and they changed it to non-smoking. My son and I could tell when we first walked in

We are sorry to hear that your stay wasn't a five star stay. We are going through a renovation this fall and hopefully that will eliminate all the former rooms that used to be a smoking room for the guest that want nothing but fresh smell. Great location to UT Health

Older, but nice

The hotel has been re-modeled, but it is still an older hotel. Nothing bad, just old (wallpaper starting to peel slightly, old door knobs, etc.). Very friendly staff and great breakfast.

Love the stay

Pros: Quietness
Cons: nothing for me
Location: very nice parking lot only one way oul and high walls around it. Thought my truck was very safe. Plenty of places to eat and 10 mins from interstate.
Very nice, very clean, and very quiet. I had ask for a room away fron the road, they said they had none. It was fine I could not hear anything, very quiet, My room was super had no problems everything was quiet good. Would recommend it to anyone.

The location is good but the price for 2 beds of $189 in Tyler, TX was just silly for an older room outside a metro area. Won't be staying there again.

We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. The rates actually vary depending on the time of year and the occupancy of the hotel. On sold out nights the rates are higher if the rooms are limited. We strive to maintain a great atmosphere with our friendly staff, clean hotel and the latest upgrades with the temperpedic beds, hd flat screens with Direct TV as well. Easy to access, close to downtown.

Pros: Comfortable bed
This was a nice, clean hotel with a very comfortable bed. Hot breakfast items were so so, cold cereals are as you would expect. However, it is way over priced, If I had not had to make such a short notice trip I would have not paid for the room, and if I recall it was discounted as well.

We strive to have a great staff, great breakfast and great amenities in the hotel. The rates do change during the period of which you are staying. Sold out days are higher than other days. ONLY negative was room smelled like a smoker had been there.The Employees couldnt have been nicer!

Donna, thank you so much for the wonderful think you said about our staff. We actually are lucky to have such a great staff here. We are sorry your room had a smell of smoke, it is so hard to get rid of that even though we are a non smoking hotel when people are smokers and travel into the hotel with the smell. We are looking into other things to help us with this so we don't have that problem. WE hope to see you again! Thank you again for the wonderful review!
