Excellent stay included one in our party who uses a wheelchair. Accessible facilities were excellent and no problems encountered with that.
Our only issue was at breakfast on one day the food supply was not keeping up with demand with queues developing as we were waiting for various food items.
The hotel was spacious and comfortable, as was the room. The surroundings and the views were lovely.
The coffee in the bar and the food at breakfast was barely warm enough, certainly not hot, so that was disappointing.
Also, having only one person behind the bar at lunchtime meant that service was slow and the employee was clearly flustered and stressed.
Similarly, having only one person on reception at 2pm when check-in opened made for a long queue and an extended wait.

Lovely first impressions, however let’s it’s self down on staff… half are great and care, other half can’t be bothered.. look very scruffy. We had no hot water at 6 o’clock nor first thing in the morning! No apology made.
The restaurant served lovely food, but was so noisy you couldn’t hear the conversation around a table of 4!
Overall, a very pleasant stay. Lovely, large room with an amazing view. Great ( and much appreciated in this heatwave) air con. Lovely and clean. One small criticism was that I had to remake the bed every day as they'd tuck in one side of the bottom sheet but not leave enough sheet on the other side to tuck in, resulting in it moving about and wrinkling up. Other than that, the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on day one was a bit disappointing quality-wise but by day two and on subsequent days, it was much improved with plenty of choice.
The hotel is a little out of the way so you need a car but the trade off is that you are surrounded by the most glorious countryside and views. All in all, a lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Very clean and comfortable bed. Great shower (shower head was loose, but didn’t affect its function). Did 20 lengths before a decent breakfast, and a 5k walk round the golf course afterwards, taking advantage of the dry, sunny weather. Will definitely return at some point.

They have rooms in attic but doesn't show in pictures or inform in advance. Booked a double bedroom and they offered 2 single beds. Tristan de Carvalho(
Reception Manager ) cancelled our bookings himself when he can not arrange a room for us as per booking and send us a cancellation email because they failed to provide a room. Initially he confirmed to refund the money but then disagree to refund us our money next day . I wish i would have recorded these scammers. Please avoid, they scam with pictures and hotel doesn't look like this at all.

We booked a luxury room for my husband’s birthday. The room was not luxury, dated and some of the furniture was dirty. We were not offered any satisfactory options. We had to downgrade and very disappointed!
We chose this hotel because they don’t allow pets, and I am highly allergic. It is clean, beautiful and spacious. The are walking paths and a lovely golf course, an excellent breakfast buffet, and an on-site indoor pool with sauna, all of which we enjoyed.
Family stay in the family suite during the week.
Our initial room had to be changed as the bathroom was full of visible black mould on the ceiling.
The hotel could do with a lick of paint in the rooms and corridors.
The restaurant is very good. We are there both nights and the menu was different each night. They catered well for our allergies.
However their catering for allergies at breakfast needs improving. There were hardly any options for gluten allergies

Lovely staff and first impressions of the building good but on looking closer furnishings are tired and need replacing.
Great location, nice surroundings. Great reception service throughout. Room 101 was great, if I had one critic it would be that there is no mini bar or fridge in the room.
Restaurant and bar are quiet and very good.

Every single staff member from reception to the restaurant to the spa are an absolute credit to themselves and the hotel, really professional and friendly, made us feel so welcome and valued as guests.
Really clean and comfy room with lovely view.
We had some lovely relaxing spa treatments and the tranquility lounge is a particularly enjoyable feature.
Nice vegan friendly menu in the restaurant including an afternoon tea.

Very welcoming on arrival at reception, all the staff were highly professional and courteous throughout our stay. We had a huge family room with enormous super king size bed and a sofa, and everything was very clean. Only slight issue was the mattress didnt feel amazing quality - it wasn't very supportive and was a bit uneven. Breakfast was superb, in a lovely room overlooking the golf course and hills beyond.

Broken tv so had to change rooms, green bright light on all night so couldn't sleep, breakfast poor, all self service, no coffee, pancake machine not working, eggs hard and cold, bacon been sat in fat for long period so inedible, no croissants asked if they could be replenished but never were

Room walls rather tatty,
Room included a meal which was disappointing to say the least . The veggie pasta ( only veggie option ) was like a Tesco £1 pasta pot !
Cocktails very over priced as they are pre mix and not fresh …
The hotel was impressive, the room was big and the bed was compfy, we thoroughly enjoy our stay.
