“CLEAN PLACE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE”
good value for price. Room was not ready at 2pm. they did not meet promise to have it ready by 4 PM when we returned. Hard boiled eggs for breakfast=strange
“Low-end Hotel trying hard”
What can you expect for a inexpensive room for one night, a clean room, microwave, small fridge, good TV, decent king size bed. But the maintenance/repair of the overall place is falling short stairway landing repair (armature would be a polite way to say it), shower drain rusty and not attached, WiFi wouldn't connect (and I know how). But like I said for booking it the same day I was going there it was OK and it didn't look like there were any 4 star hotels around.....LOL
“Great stop on the way to the Redwoods”
We stopped here on our trip up to the Redwoods. The motel is very large and is situated near the north end of town close to Hwy 101. The room was very spacious, clean and cool (temp outside was 105). The bathroom does not have a lock on the door but that was a small issue for us as we had no young children that would really enjoy the havoc that could raise. The pool was closed for maintenance but looked inviting. Breakfast was similar to other motels but with the addition of sausages biscuits and gravy. This was very popular with the numbers of workmen that seemed to stay at the motel while working on jobs in the area. The motel filled up with many of these workers each night but they were very quiet and were gone by 7AM. Overall the motel was very good value. This is a great choice for families needing a large clean room while on the road in NorCal.
“A nice room”
I needed to stay overnight in Ukiah on business and stayed here. The motel is only in an okay part of the town of Ukiah. I wouldn't go so far as to call it dangerous, but the area is socioeconomically poor. HOWEVER- I have to say that, once inside my room, it was very nice. There was quite a bit of space. It had a large bathroom, and also enough front room space to hold a king size bed, two armchairs with a desk between them, a second desk with its own armchair, the TV, a large dresser, TWO fridges (large and small), and endtables with plenty of room to spare. The furniture was well-maintained and looked very nice. It all certainly LOOKED clean, though I wasn't completely convinced that everything had been disinfected to perfection. There was a coffeemaker that made a good cup. Free WiFi. Pretty quiet outside. Very comfortable. Most of all, for what you get the price was outstanding. A good value and highly recommended if you're visiting Ukiah. I will be returning.
“Unsatisfied - alittle leary of residents in the hotel”
this hotel was dirty and clearly there were people living there.
“I would stay again”
This is a very large complex with a nice pool and hot breakfast. We were not able to use the internet but for this trip that was no big deal.
“Good Value”
Pool was perfect temperature and open late, breakfast was above and beyond any other complimentary breakfast offering fresh waffles, biscuits, gravy and sausage, the room was clean with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, ironing board and blow dryer. The cost was even less than advertised.
“Well worth the price - would go back again.”
Desk staff were EXTREMELY helpful - suggested place for dinner and helped out with all inquiries. Room was huge; older and a bit worn but totally clean and neat, had everything we could want. Bed was comfortable. Hotel has kitschy redwood carved statues out front, was interesting and we took pics. Breakfast was basic Continental, but had a waffle machine which was nice. Overall, very nice stay for the price - I'd stay there again.
“Not Impressed”
When I arrived in my bedroom, the mini-fridge was hanging loose from the counter to which it was attached. The room was clean but gloomy, overlooking a parking lot.
“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel staff is nice and courteous. Good Breakfast assortment with waffle maker. Love the outdoor pool and the 4 hot tubs and the outside is beautiful with all the carved figures throughout the entire outdoor area. Convenient to stores, restaraunts, highway and local attactions.
