Nice for a quick overnight heading north

Posted May 14, 2015
Super convenient being right on highway 101. Super friendly and helpful staff! Even a small breakfast at the front desk (2 cereals and some doughnuts, milk and oj). Only issue was a weird burnt food smell when we arrived, but was gone by morning.

Cute and quaint. Nice grassy center for enjoying the evening in the chairs. Clean and very friendly. Left at 5am, so not sure about breakfast.

It's a fun place to stay.

Only problem we had is for some reason our cell phones had trouble maintaining a signal when close to the office. Rooms are perfect for us. Comfortable, quiet.

comfortable, kitschy and charming

Posted Jan 26, 2015 on Hotels.com
I was surprised at the size of the room and how comfortable the bed was. Even though the headboard was a few sizes too small for the bed it was attatched to, the whole place has a kitschy charm to it. The continental breakfast is literally 2 kinds of cereal, whole milk, sunny delight and coffee. I am a woman and was staying by myself. They put me in a room right next to the office which was nice. All in all, it's an excellent value for the money and I would definitely stay here again!

As a tourist needing somewhere to stop this was a comfortable place with a big room and easy walking to places to eat.

Great values for the money

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: Very affordable and lovely small family owned and operated motel. Every room has it's own distinct theme after old Wild West - quite nice actually. Th
Cons: The breakfast was coffee with milk and donuts but that's okay.
Location: One hour drive from the avenue of the giants (redwoods), 5 minutes away from a historical railway train excursion, 2 minute from a large grocery store
Stayed overnight. Liked so much that stayed another night! The room was very spacious, clean, quiet, and very reasonably priced. Room came with a TV with 1,000 channels or so, fast free wifi, parking for a car, fridge, microwave, etc. and a breakfast included
