Union Bay Vacations
Union Bay is approximately 85 miles (137 kilometers) away from Vancouver and about 110 miles (177 kilometers) from Victoria.
It's little wonder the area around Union Bay is a perennial favourite with travelers; the surrounding region features numerous great things to see and do. You'll also find Vananda, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the southwest, and Black Creek 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southeast.
Around 65 miles (105 kilometers) to the southeast of Union Bay is Ladysmith, a regional center which is home to Ladysmith Golf Club, Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery and Transfer Beach Park. Ladysmith Little Theatre and Frank Jameson Community Centre are just a sample of the other visitor attractions in Ladysmith.
If the sun is shining, take the time to explore Vancouver Island's open-air exhibits, open-air museums and gardens.
Pack a camera and water bottle and join a knowledgeable guide for one of the fascinating culinary tours, winery tours and cycling tours. No break is really complete without some relaxation. Bird watching is one way to relax in this region and cycling is another.
At the conclusion of your stay in Vancouver Island, just remember that you can come again. As they say: A guest once, forever a friend.
