“would go back/recommend”

We went for a family reunion.It is located in convenient location-stores, gas, food all around us within walking distance. The pool was open and VERY clean.Our room was upstairs-it looked newly remodelled and was very clean. Staff was very nice and courteous checking in and checking out. There were bikers staing in rooms near ours and they were very nice and respectful to the place and all of us. Myself, two children, my parents and 6 other members of our family stayed there also and they were pleased with everything overall as well. The Mexican rest. next door was good. I would go back and I would also recommend Days Inn Martin to others.

A very reasonable priced motel that I would stay in again

Overall, for the price, this hotel was fine. If you need to be in Martin, then the location is convenient. The room was nice enough, spacious and the pool was nice though a short walk outside. The carpet, however, was very dirty. We had two young children with us and their feet were black with a short amount of time on the floor. Bathroom was clean and stocked appropriately.

“Hotel was nice but.....”

When we arrived the manager asked if how many would be staying in the room. We informed him that only two would be there. We had visitors come to the hotel and shortly after we received a call from the same manager questioning again who would be stay in the room. I did not appreciate that it was suspected I would add more to the room just because I had visitors. Not cool.

“Good value for the money”

Overall, this is a very nice hotel for the price. Of course, I would like to stay somewhere higher end, but for the cost, this is a nice choice. Fridge and micro in the room are nice.

“Days Inn of Martin”

The motel staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean and they had purchased new matttesses so the beds were very comfortable.

“Nothing fancy but meets basic needs”

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Air conditioner cooled room well at night. This is an older hotel so don't expect what newer hotels offer. Shower head is low for anyone over 5'6" but water pressure is good. Room had a funny smell that we got used to quickly - we think it was something trying to mask past smokers from back when smoking was allowed in the room. Continental breakfast was okay. Staff was friendly and competent.

“Hotel Stay in Martin”

This is an older motel but it appears that there has been an effort to maintain it. Unfortunately, the room we had possessed an unidentifiable odor, and the HAV unit was very loud. The beds were comfortable. Since there is very little hotel competion in the area, the rate charged was higher than a motel of this caliber would charge elsewhere. We were there for only one night, so the conditions were bearable. I would recommend this motel only if the Hampton Inn is unavailable.

“Not up to par”

The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. And the bed was not very comfortable. I booked and prepaid for 2 nights, but finished up my business earlier than anticipated. The owner refused to refund my money for checking out early. Next time, I will stick with the hotel chains I am comfortable with.
