Wet carpet and damp beds!

Posted Jul 6, 2014
This was a terrible place to stay! Our room had a damp feeling all around. The carpet was so wet that our feet got wet walking on it and even the beds felt damp! Terrible! I wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Could be better!

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: It was in a good area.
Cons: The hotel over all! rooms, beds, room service.
Location: There are a lot of great restaurants near by as wells as stores (e.g. CVS, Walmart, Gas Stations, Sonics, Dunkin Donuts, etc.)
The hotel looked run down inside. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the sight. The rooms were not comfortable and the bed was bent on one side. Room services never came to our room to clean or give us new towels.

Worst place I have ever stayed

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: nothing at all
Cons: everything
Location: very questionable location with gangsters and thugs everywhere.
Terrible experience. First of all, when we checked in, we were given a dirty room with trash and liquor bottles everywhere. We went back downstairs to complain, so we were given a different room only to discover that when we walked in , there were people already in there! Then the third try, we finally got a clean, empty room only to be awoken at 330 am by a very loud noise like someone kicked down the door next to us, then heard footsteps run down the hall, down the stairs and slam another door! needless to say, it was kinda hard to sleep after that. We finally got back to sleep an hour later only to be woken up by housekeeping banging on the door at 845 am! Avoid this place like the plague

Okay for a quick stay

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced for our needs. We arrived late and the hotel served the purpose of getting a decent nights sleep before heading out to our final destination in Atlanta. I'd use again if we are in the area.

Room left a lot to be desired.

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Cons: The cleanliness could stand with some improvement.
Location: The CVS down the street locks up their deodorant for some reason. However, their EPT pregnancy test don't get locked up. I don't understand that logic
For one thing, I did not realize that even though the name is Microtel that the room would be SO small. For $10 more I could have gotten an average sized room that did not have a leak under the sink, stains everywhere and a big weird mirror spanning the length of the wall above the bed. There was a mini fridge in the room that looked as though it had never had a cleaning wipe taken to the front of it and the cover for the knobs on the AC unit was broken off and sitting on the window seat when we arrived. I am not sure if this is the way that Microtel works or not but no one came in to change the sheets or bring fresh towels during our 2 day stay. We had to go down and get clean towels before getting a shower. There was also mold on the bottom of the cloth shower curtain and water stains on the shower head. Other than that the staff seemed to be friendly and the breakfast was good.

Worst hotel EVER!!!

Posted Mar 31, 2014
I walked into this hotel and the lights leading up to the hotel weren't even on. As soon as I checked in the hotel, the front desk informed me that half the channels were not available. Upon entering my room, I was immediately disgusted. There was on one light in the room and it was very dim. The day bed had stains on it. The actual bed look like someone just threw on the bed.
