Pros: Proximity to function I was attending.
Cons: Update tv sets and expand station coverage
Location: Convenient to airport, eating places and shops.
I spent quite a bit of time resting between functions. I am a tv person and was extremely disappointed that I could not view certain channels due to a very very loud humming noise of which Front Desk employees were aware. Employee explained the hotel tv were limited to channels that were viewable. You could see the pix but the loud humming was unbearable. I was extremely disappointed. I could somewhat understand the very out-dated television sets, but not be able to view the channels WAS UNACCEPTABLE! Then as a 62yr old female, I was disturbed upon my return to see 2 police vehicles parked outside.

Nice hotel with leaking sinkPosted Nov 13, 2013
The hotel was extermely nice and clean, however i had leaking bathroom sink in my room. Because of this i suffered a fall and hurt my back. The thing that disturbed me the most was that once i reported this to the manager, she never once asked if i was ok or offered to file an incident report.

Decent StayPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Close to businesses and food.
Cons: Condition of the facility. The rooms are showing their age.
Location: Food, Walmart, and fuel are close.
The stay here was ok. The information given regarding the room having a full kitchen, full size refrigerator is not accurate. For the condition of the facility the room with the whirlpool is over priced.

Use this place to sleep and nothing else.Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: I could sleep well. It wasn't noisy
Cons: Don't stick me in a room where someone was smoking before.
Location: I used this location to be between Fort Benning (1 1/2 hour drive from Mirotel) and Atlanta (20 mintues). Getting to Atalanta was easy.
The 1st room (single bed) smelled like smoke. It was small. Since my sister came with me, I upgraded to a 2 bed which they had available. The staff was really good about discounting the upgrade. The 2 bed suite was much larger and didn't smell like smoke. The only reason I chose this place was originally I was the only one supposed to be there. There is nothing nice about the hotel. Likewise, there is really nothing bad about it either.

Questionable tactics....Posted Oct 29, 2013
I have stayed at this hotel two nights per week for over a month now. The price made it worth it (to me at least) to overlook that the rooms are a bit run down, often dirty, and smell a bit. The staff have been great for the most part as well. They have never asked for a credit card. This week they asked for one. After reminding them that I paid via expedia and had never before been asked for one there, the GM came out and explained that it was for incidentals. I questioned what incidentals there could possibly be since there is no mini bar or pay per view. He stated it was "mainly for room damages". After insisting that I would not do this because the entire situation seemed strange and made me uncomfortable, they let me check in. Asking for a credit card when one is certainly not needed should make anyone leery of trusting these people. Just be cautious. I will now stay elsewhere.

Older hotel, but clean. Not a lot of amenities, but at half the price of the local Holiday Inn Express, definitely worth it. TV was a little problematic, not much of a channel selection, but you get what you pay for.

Don't stay here when they're at capacityPosted Oct 6, 2013
I stayed there during TomorrowWorld. From the outside it looks fairly nice. It's like when you search for apartments online and they look amazing, and then when you get to the place to check it out you realize they just had a really awesome photographer. Anyhow, that weekend they were at capacity and when we checked in there was only one room left, ours. The lighting in the room was really dim, and smelled really weird and overwhelming, like soapy. The TV was in black and white and only had like eight channels. In the morning, housekeeping came for dirty towels, I gave her two bath towels- I'm guessing they didn't have extras so they had to take the dirty ones and wash them to give us clean ones, she took them and came back and gave me only one towel back. It was nicer or being so close to the festival site, however, after driving around in Atlanta, I wouldn't mind staying in a different hotel for the event next year.

What I expected.Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: The staff are very friendly and accommodating., particularly the night shift guy.
Cons: Cleaning the carpets would greatly improve the feel of the rooms.
Location: The interstate is close.
The rooms are what one expects for the price. Not entirely clean and in a questionable neighborhood.

Do Not stay at this motel unless no options!Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Upon late arrival, motel sign by street was not light up, hard to find. Front desk checked us into a pre-occupied room, so we had to change rooms. Front desk had no option but to put us in a smoking room, after we had requested a no smoking room in the reservation. Found hairs and cigaretts burns on the linens. TV was an old tube type television with poor picture quality. One other item the hotel phone in the room blinked the entire night as if a message, when called the front desk, to unplug the phone and the light on the phone would go out - it did not! Never again!!!!

The bathroom doors, toilets bowl needs to be fix. The room was too small and the queen size mattrass it so soft feels like it has been there for over a century. I wake up the next morning and I decided to cut my stay short because of the body pain.
