“Relaxing place”
The bed and breakfast inn was a relaxing place, and our needs were well met. The beauty of SW Michigan drew us to that place, and we were not disappointed!
“Would Definitely Stay Here Again...”
I was very satisfied with our stay. We went to Union Pier, MI for a weekend trip in the winter. The surrounding area was nice (beach, state parks, wine tasting and lots of antique stores). I would definitely recommend Garden Groove Bed and Breakfast. The inn-keepers were friendly and offered many suggestions of things to do around town. The room was well-kept and clean. The common area was nice, with a fireplace, books to read, games to play and snacks. But the best part was the breakfast. We had mixed berries, pumpkin pancakes, eggs, sausage, fresh orange juice and coffee...Very good! Nice, relaxing get-a-way weekend.
“Great B&B!”
Garden Grove B&B is great - relaxing atmosphere, perfect location to see all the sights in "harbor country", good food and the innkeepers are very welcoming and helpful. You'll really enjoy their shade garden and the other plantings around the yard if you're interested in gardens!
“12 day vacation”
We felt like treasured guests. Homemade breakfast was wonderful versus other B&Bs charging higher rates for toaster waffles. Housekeeping was superb and A/C thru a muggy spell was perfect. Innkeepers are interesting and unobtrusive with a wealth of knowledge. Location was excellent: off the beach (by about a mile) because it was quiet and away from the drunken party scene over July 4th. Rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. We were in the Arbor room (the lowest cost accommodation). We can not wait to go back. Try the gelato at Pumpernickel Inn.
“First time bed and breakfast experience”
Our first experience at a bed and breakfast was a pleasent one. The accomodations and service was beyond expectaions.
“Union Pier Gem”
On a whim, I decided to use a bed and breakfast for an overnight in Union Pier. Garden Grove exceeded my expectations. It is quiet, small, has great breakfast food, gardens, and had a very comfortable room. I would definitely go back!!
“Very Nice”
Very nice B & B about 1 mile from Union Pier beach. Very nicely decorated rooms, well manicured grounds and delicious homemade breakfasts. Hosts were gracious and unobtrusive. Convenient location to Harbour Country attractions. Would go back again.
