Hotel bien placé et agréable

Posted Feb 22, 2015

Comfortable hotel, great location

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: One day only free Wifi access provided. Also, problems with our ipad during stay, possibly due to the Galleria WIFI.
Cons: Too many kids running around at wine/happy hour. Cost of internet in the business center.
Location: Quick walk to union square, China Town, Beldon Alley dining and public transportation.
We always enjoy our stay here. Easy access, welcoming lobby, rooftop walking trail, and evening wine hour.

Nice hotel with awesome downtown location

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Awesome location in downtown San Francisco. Staff are very helpful. Daily wine hour which is complementary.
Cons: They have a coffee bar in the mornings, but I wish they had some breakfast. At least something small like cereal and juice.
Location: Chinatown is practically next door. About a 10 minute walk to the Moscone Center if you have a convention there. A short bus ride to anywhere else.
Overall a very nice hotel. I think it was a bit old and recently remodeled. As a result the architecture is a bit small and the rooms are smaller than expected, but very nicely done and clean. The staff is some of the best I've seen. They have a complementary wine hour from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and coffee (very good) in the mornings, but no breakfast. There is an awesome breakfast place and also a Chipotle next door. Small fitness center consisting of two treadmills, Bowflex, and dumbells. The location is awesome with a short walk to anywhere downtown. I took bus rides to Haight Street and the Wharf which were not bad at all. If this hotel had a good breakfast bar I'd give it 5/5, but because the rooms are a little small and there isn't any breakfast, I'd give it 4/5. Highly recommended.

My room was very nice and the hotel staff were very friendly, but the bed sheet was not as clean as I expected. There were some small particles I can feel on the sheet.

Classic in the City Centre

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: The ambiance
Cons: Free Wi-Fi
Location: Great location to catch BART to anywhere.
All good - Wi-Fi was on Expedia as free, but was in fact only free for the first day...seemed strange for a hotel in the centre of the San Francisco Financial District, and the parking was expensive. If you don't need Wi-Fi and are on foot, a great location and a great choice.

Good location- terrible bed

Posted Feb 9, 2015
The bed was terrible. It felt like an air mattress on top of an air mattress . The bathroom was awkwardly small. For some reason there was a second sink in our room. Maybe part of an old bathroom? Walls are pretty thin. Valet is expensive but easy. The free wine hour was pretty nice. The staff was beyond nice. The beds were just so bad! Like my body still hurts :(

Great location in financial district.

Posted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Accommodations and staff were very nice
Cons: Could use a little larger bathroom.
Location: Within walking distance of the wharf. Just 1 block off market street. Great restaurants nearby.
This hotel is very nice. Older, but has been renovated. I was complimentary upgraded upon checkin to a suite. My bed was comfortable. The bathroom is quite small and no counter space, but could work around that. Very comfortable. This will be my hotel of choice when I need to stay in the financial district.
