"Better than expected...perfect San Fran experience"
We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Nikko on the 20th floor ("Nikko Floor"). Upon arrival, we asked for two queen beds, instead of a king, and they changed our reservation with no problem at all. We were totally impressed by our large, spacious room with an INCREDIBLE city view. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very large, modern bathroom with a tub separate from the shower. Beds were super soft, and comfortable; we slept like babies with minimal noise from the city/other guests. Hotel Nikko is situated nicely with the perfect amount of distance from Union Square and the BART. Very short walk to the F-train (trolley), bus stops, and cable cars. We walked to Chinatown. Housekeeping cleaned our room twice a day and even left chocolates on our pillows. Room was immaculate the entire stay!!! All in all, we will definitely stay here again, on our next trip to this amazing city. I highly recommend this hotel!

Flagship stores ring Union Square, among the vanguard of West Coast retail. Chinatown begins at Grant Avenue and Bush Street, while Gold Rush-era mansions crown Nob Hill. South of Union Square, the convention center area includes the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Cable cars turn around at Powell and Market streets to head back to Fisherman's Wharf.
