Centralized Location to much of Seattle

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Great staff, very positive and friendly.
Cons: There was no continental breakfast at all. We had to order from a coffee/sandwich shop located in the lobby and cost $20 for two for breakfast.
Location: We were walking distance to University Blvd near the U of W. Lots of small eating places. Also, only a few miles from downtown by car to the sights.
Very good experience. Nice location near the U of W. Easy access to I-5 and Aurora Ave to downtown and all of the sights.

Great facility with awesome beds. Lots of nice touches, such as free laundry, bikes and shuttle And pineapple water. Only criticism is the cafe. Service was soooo slow. Hotel staff very friendly

Scrupulously Clean Hotel

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Location: The much-heralded Portage Bay Café is located only w blocks down Roosevelt Ave.
Hardwood flooring in the bedroom was a pleasant surprise. Floors, windows (that open for fresh air), furniture and bathroom have been beautifully maintained. Herbal bath products added to the experience.

Came to hang out in Fremont...hotel was great!

The hotel was nice and close to Fremont. Only downside was trying to find a decent place to eat that was American!

多目的に使える質の高いホテル

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: ホテルスタッフが非常にフレンドリーでサービスが行き届いている。
Location: ・ワシントン大学キャンパス ・Portage Bay Cafe ・Trader Joe's

Pretty much what we needed

Very nice staff. Only problem was no close restaurants (within walking distance). I think a pretty good value for cost. Rooms/beds comfortable.

Great hotel, and mostly a hipster-free area !

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Everything, mostly.
Cons: Get rid of the bad cable service on the telly, and update to satellite.
Location: Great location, close to many nifty restaurants, and the sadly "rife with hipsters" Sundance Cinema.
I booked via Expedia, and spoke a few times (via phone) to someone at the hotel called Natalie who was very helpful. The young man who checked me in, called Reed, was also hugely pleasant and helpful, and made me and my wife feel most welcome. I also tip my hat to the other person at the desk, the lovely Jennifer. The pineapple coconut cupcakes were nummy, with a cup of quite tasty coffee. The room itself was very nice and spacious. The amenities were also uniformly excellent. I was also surprised, pleasantly, to find that the hotel, despite being in the so-called "U-District" was mostly a hipster-free zone, and I saw no vaping or other icky behavior going on, so, despite being an old guy, I fit right in. The wee cafe on the premises is also nice, if a bit costly.
