Nice Reasonably Priced HotelPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Clean, pleasant staff, reasonably priced.
Cons: The local neighborhood does not have a lot of restaurants in walking distance, although we did find a very nice Greek place that the staff at the hote
Location: It's primarily a residential area, so if you are looking for a lot to do you need to take the train downtown.
We had a wedding to attend in Germany and decided to meet our daughter and son-in-law in Munich ahead of time. They are on a tighter budget than we are and they found the NH Muenchen in Unterhaching. It's a nice hotel, pleasant staff, reasonably priced and convenient to the train station. It has a reasonably priced garage with plenty of space and a few free spaces in front, so if you drive to town and don't mind taking the train to the city center it is fairly convenient. If you want more action, then the city center is the place to be, but I'd prefer not to drive there, and if you are visiting the Hofbrauhaus, then driving home is out of the question.

Great Large Rooms.Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Size of the room.
Cons: Breakfast price.
Location: Very close to transport, cafes and supermarket. We always went into Munich so didn't explore the local area to the hotel.
Really good price for the size of the room, had a kitchenette and living room area. Really easy to get into the City Centre as close to S bahn station and the Munich Transport system is great. Only downside is the breakfast is 19euros if you don't book it with the room but having the Kitchenette (with sink. microwave, fridge and kettle) we didn't need the breakfast as supermarket very close by so could easily make our own. Overall a great stay.

Average hotelPosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a safe area, south of Munich. The environment is good. But, the hotel charged 8€ extra for parking in the garage. Normally, the parking on the street is free. The room is fine. However, there was no flat screen TV. There is a sitting room in addition to the bedroom. So, it was an average stay.

Happy n content customer.Posted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Spacious Rooms, location and friendly staff
Cons: More cost effective options for breakfast especially for families with children who just want a bowl of cereal.
Location: Excellent location n quality public transport makes using car redundant.
Excellent hotel great location for easy access to the centre of Munich. Loved the layout of the rooms very spacious n relaxing. Would recommend to visitors to Munich n would definitely consider staying again if re-visiting Munich. Only negative was cost of breakfast but this is optional so opted out.

Had a Good StayPosted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: The number of services it offered.
Cons: Didn't have a minibar price list.
Location: The hotel is in a quiet, more residential area, with a Tegelmann, ALDI, and LIDL nearby. The S-Bahn is close and Marienplatz 15 min. away.
My husband and I stayed here during part of our honeymoon. By S-Bahn, it was only 15 min. from the main attractions of Munich, but you might wait a while for the next connection. Reception was very helpful, especially with directions, available at all hours, and the size of the room was very generous for just the two of us.

Excellent value in munichPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Size and comfort of room
Cons: Expensive breakfast
Location: Ideal on S3 Bahn route
Lovely room - fridge, microwave, kettle and two televisions. Staff friendly and helpful. Very convenient location near S-Bahn station, not too far from centre of Munich. A quiet location with shops nearby - bakers, supermarket, chemist. Very good Wirtshaus (pub) nearby in Unterhaching. Didn't have breakfast as 16 Euros per head is too expensive.
