Nice family run hotelPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: The family who ran the hotel were very kind and friendly
Cons: A lift could be installed, air-conditioning installed and the bathrooms need upgrading urgently
Location: Close to railway station which is good for connections to other places, good restaurants nearby.
This hotel was ok if you were a fit person, unfortunately l was using a walking cane at the time and as the hotel didn't have a lift found it was difficult to get upstairs, especially as the staff were really that willing to help with the suitcases. The room itself was ok, although the bathroom was very small, only just able to get in, the shower was tiny. Also there was no air-conditioning and as it was very warm this was a problem, especially as you couldn't sleep with the windows open because of outside noise, also a very strong smell of fish all the time.

Service and Staff are the Stars of this hotel !!Posted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: The staff were wonderful
Cons: The decor could do with updating
Location: Excellent location for the train station and buses for access to all tourist attactiions as well as the shops and restaurants.
On first impressions this hotel is a little dated but never judge a book by its cover !, The owner and his son are fantastic hosts....and wonderfully knowledgable . All advice is tailored to the visitors needs ,preferences, or in my case a fear of cablecars !!! Their suggestions were practical and a real treat.....We fitted so much in during our 3 days ...all thanks to the meticulous plans and timetables prepared for us . The young lady on reception in the evening was also charming, and very welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. breakfast was good with a good continental selection. This hotel is very convenient for the train station and buses

Great view.Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: The view, the people, the breakfast. Free wifi.
Cons: As long as you don't mind shared facilities, nothing.
Location: Short walk to Interlaken West train station, plenty of scenery to walk through nearby, and easy access to other amenities on buses or train.
Nice small hotel with pleasant staff and good breakfast. My room was up under the roof and very small, but in recompense had an excellent view of the mountains, above and beyond the rooftops of the rest of the town. Bathroom is shared, but you get used to that.

A great choicePosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: Breakfast and the friendly staff.
Cons: No air con, did not affect my enjoyment of the hotel as I was aware prior to arrival.
Good location away from the masses but close enough to make reaching everywhere easy. Hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the excellent selection of international TV channels was an unexpected bonus.

Nice hotel great staff!Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: The staff
Our stay at Hotel Roessli was outstanding! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They helped us plan all our adventures, sent us to a wonderful restaurant for dinner and were so knowledgeable about Interlaken. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was comfy and the location was great! We highly recommend Hotel Roessli and would definitely stay there again!

Well Worth The Stay - and SavingsPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a very fine stay, with exceptional - superb! - customer service and a clean, welcoming room. I had a 3rd floor shared bathroom room, #34, and was quite pleased. There is a little noise to be expected in a B&B setting, which is what 3rd floor is. Grabbed a fan to cool things off and have some white noise, enjoyed the tasty breakfast (included!), and found Christopher, Caroline and the rest of the staff to be obsessed with making sure guests are taken care and given good guidance for local attractions and food. Saved hundreds during my stay, and would go back without hesitation.

Great place to stayPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly staff who really wanted us to have a super time. Clean rooms, great breakfast. This hotel has small den-type rooms with books, desks, and couches for gathering. Would stay there again.

very good hotel at reasonable pricePosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
friendly staff, single room a bit little, but OK. Nice room under the roof, charming, but not for tall people. Even hotel full, no trouble to use WC and bathroom. And coffee and tea free the whole day. The only disavantage : no lift.

Top classPosted May 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
For a budget price room, I really couldn't find fault in any aspect of the facilities or service offered by the Roessli. Room was clean and comfortable (maybe a bit small but it was only a single) and the shared facilities spotless, breakfast super, and staff brilliant. No hesitation in giving top marks would certainly book again if going back, thanks to all the team for a memorable stay.

A very good place to stayPosted Apr 6, 2013
Cons: The only downside was the pillows :P
The Hotel is well located right near Interlaken West train station and about 25 minutes stroll to Interlaken Ost. The Hotel arranged Interlaken "Visitors Cards" for us so we were able to catch the bus between Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost (and all around Interlaken) for free. The staff at the Hotel are fantastic. Every staff member we spoke to was extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful. We used the common rooms, breakfast room, kitchen and laundry room during our stay and they were all great facilities Our room was very clean, breakfast was sufficient and the wifi connection was fast. I will stay here again next time I am in interlaken.
