“Stay here!”

We loved this hotel. It's a little older, but the people working there were exceptionally friendly, and when we called to say we'd be arriving late because there was an accident on the highway, they kept the hotel restaurant open late for us so we could eat when we arrived. They did tell us that a bank wants to tear the hotel down after the Passion Play next year because it wants their location, so we'd recommend giving them your business to help them stay open!

Friendly English speaking staff, excellent food. If you are looking for a quiet place close to the mountains, this is a place to go. A little out of the way but well worth the 15 minute drive from the lifts

“Comfy family-owned hotel!”

I loved this hotel and my room. I was in room 10 and it was just lovely with a little balcony with a great view! The room was perfect for me-a lone traveler, but would be good for 2 friends or a couple not needing to sleep in the same bed(there were 2twin beds). Breakfast was provided and the whole place just had that comfy bed&breakfast feel to it...and quite quiet-the way I like it! Inwish I could've stayed longer!

“A great hotel!”

This hotel is a great deal. It is clean, very quiet, well maintained and play very soft old light Rock American music, :-) The staff speaks perfect English. The dinners are very well prepared and the breakfasts are great too. You even get your own reserved table at meals so no worry about seating. And the price is right too. Curtis

“Swiss Heaven on Earth”

Absolutely wonderful and lovely gasthaus in one of the most spectacular and picturesque places we have ever been! We took a drive up the mountain, past our gasthaus, to a scene of total tranquility. When we shut off the car engine, the only sound we could hear were a few cowbells on cows grazing off in the distance. The Catholic Church next to the gasthaus was also incredibly beautiful. It was very difficult for us to leave this place of serenity and peace!

“Traditional Bavarian Experience”

This place is extraordinary and provides a wonderfully traditional experience. My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. Not only was breakfast included in the room rate, but dinner was as well. The dinner menu changes each day. We had many great dishes of excellent quality. Each room has a reserved table in the dining room, which is very traditionally and tastefully decorated. The people who run the inn are genuinely kind and helpful. We were sad to leave. If you're looking for a generic hotel, this is not for you. Our room had a beautiful view of the snowy valley and mountains from our balcony, which had two chairs and a small table. In the evening, all was quiet and peaceful. We would most definitely stay here again.

“Authentic Bavarian/Tirol experience”

The view is beautiful, the breakfast is good, and the staff is very friendly. They all speak English. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the shower. Our room was at the third floor underneath the roof, and I could not stand up straight in the shower (I'm 6'2"). If you’re looking for an authentic Bavarian/Tirol experience, then this is definitely the place to stay.
