Great hotel in walking distance of downtown GarmisPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Very nice hotel and room with homey atmosphere. Breakfast included and very nice array of options.
Location: Garmisch is my favorite destination in Germany. Any travel guide will list myriad things to do and see.
Very nice little hotel in downtown Garmisch, and in walking distance to downtown area. Staff very friendly and always willing to help. Family run, and very accommodating. Only thing I would suggest is that we should've been told that we were being accommodated in a room for people with special needs. Specifically, the shower has not stall; therefore, the floor of the bathroom had water everywhere and, although a squeegee was provided, the floor was most always wet. Hope to stay there again some time.

Nice stay in GarmischPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: the staff, the meal options, the daily newsletter, the Garmisch travel passes that included bus fare for our time there and discounts to attractions
Cons: parking that was better suited for cars larger than compacts
Location: down town is a 20 minute walk or short bus ride away. The Partnach Klam is a 15 minute drive towards the ski jump.
My wife and I enjoyed our time here. The staff are very nice and were helpful in providing directions and recommendations. The breakfast and dinner options available were very nice. The hotel is near town and many of the attractions. Parking is a little challenging if you have a larger vehicle than the typical compact that most Europeans drive.

Relaxing DestinationPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Run by very friendly hoteliers, this is an excellent destination if you want personal recommendations on local sights. We were very pleased with the breakfast and location outside downtown Garmisch. Right on the bus line, it was easy to get to any place we needed to see. Bus ticket was included with stay as part of the visitors pass. Room was comfortable and quiet. Definitely recommend.

Charming hotel with great service and food.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Super clean and charming.
Cons: More parking spaces.
Loved this hotel and would certainly go back. The staff is great and the decor is charming Bavarian style which added enormously to our enjoyment. Rooms are huge and well-appointed. Super duper clean bathroom. Parking is a bit of an issue when the hotel is full of guests.

Great friendly hotel all round.Posted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
From start to finish a great 4 night stay. All staff from cleaners up to the manager friendly and welcoming. Room was great, bed comfortable, space fine for a family room. Breakfast a very good selection. WiFi worked well. Little touches like free umbrellas to use appreciated when it rained. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Garmisch or the bus service stops across the road and was free with the included visitors card. Timetable was provided at check in at the hotel with the relevant stop highlighted. Didn't use the leisure facilities but no reason to suspect they would be any different to the rest of the hotel.

Charming Hotel with an unbelievable breakfastPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located well for easy traveling to hiking locations. The staff were friendly most of the time and they all speak good good English. The reason to stay here is all about the breakfast. They reserve a table just of you and have a buffet of the most amazing selection I've ever seen - fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, jams, spreads, honey, Nutella, breads, eggs, cereals, milks, pancakes, cooked and cold meats, fresh squeezed orange juice and a self serve espresso machine!!! Unbeatable breakfast for sure.
