a quick stop in GarmischPosted May 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
A nice clean hotel. It has a very Prussian sterile feel to it. The staff also conveys that sterile customer service. Overall a nice place to stay.

Short stay in MayPosted May 26, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms, nice staff.
Cons: Wi-Fi signal level in the rooms needs some boost.
Location: Fraundorfer Restaurant few steps down the street. Excellent food, live folk dancing, yodelling and singing. Calfs liver sour was outstanding.
Good hotel in quit neighborhood. Just couple of minutes away from the old town center.

close to very beautiful areaPosted Aug 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
the hotel though expensive was really nice. my kid enjoyed the pool. the hotel's retaurant is good, they practice more or less the same prices as in the restaurants outside. the best thing is its location..very close to a scenic area..hotel is accessed from station by local bus. hotel's exterior can benefit from some renovation works..pets are also welcome.

Beautiful locationPosted Jun 9, 2012
A rather large hotel, which is unusual in Europe. The location was fantastic, right at the foot of some of the largest mountains in the area. The town is very quaint. Wifi was not complimentary.

it was a great hotel, great location. right by the historical street. very good location. the only negative feed back is that for a 4star hotel, they were charging for internet access. I rather them to add 10 euro per night but have that included!

Parking is h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e!!Posted Feb 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was just ok, location was not great for us wanting to hit the slopes. We had to walk to the bus stop, take the bus, then take the train, then walk from the train to the mountain. Thank goodness we drove our car. The parking...ugh, frustrating!! They have limited spots and the private garage is not hotel property. I ended up being told to park in the bus spots with the added risk of getting ticketed or towed.

Great HotelPosted Jan 29, 2012
Pros: Service, professionalism, and helpfulness
Cons: The Hotel exchange rate used.
Great stay very friendly staff. The only down side to the hotel was the exchange rate used when converting USD to Euro. The actual exchange rate was .75 Euros to 1 USD and they gave .69 Euros for ever 1 USD. Great place about 5 minutes to the Ski train that leads to all the ski resorts.

Hotel MercurePosted Jan 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Overall the stay was very good. The hotel employees were very curtious and informative about the surrounding area and attractions. The hotel's resturaunt was a little expensive but the service was good. I highly recomend the breakfast buffet, but make sure you pay upfront when you are booking or you will pay more in person.
