A very nice hotel run by Inge Hansen and her friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again.

“Wunderbar hotel”

I stayed in this hotel in late July for 4 days and unfortunately left 2 jackets behind and didnt realise until I arrived in London, where the jackets were most needed. The hotel found the jackets and sent them back to Australia for me which is great service. I will definitely stay at the hotel again, good food, nice cold beers and a good location that's only a short walk from the train station. I will certainly return.

“One of the BETTER GuestHouses In Germany”

We really liked this hotel. We had stayed in a combination of 5 Star Hotels (Arabella Sheraton Munich) and just as many Small Guesthouse Hotels. Of All of the Guest house Hotels, we will rate this one as our favorite.

“Excellent hotel and spot on location”

I was not sure if this hotel would live up to the nice pics. I found it much nicer. It is in a very good location for the walking in to the town ( 5 mins ) and also driving up to the obersalzberg or eagles nest. The view from the restaurant on a nice day is so nice it almost does not look real ! I loved eating my breakfast and seeing the mountains. The outside terrace was nice as well but the trees block the view a little. The rooms are very clean and well mantained and have a nice individual decor which makes a change from the usual bland rooms in most hotels. The staff are all very helpful and speak good English and dont mind you practicing your German. They are all polite and have a nice sense of humour. I get the feeling they all like their work. The food was excellent. I would say this is one of the nicest hotel I have stopped in. The only downside I can think of was parking was sometimes awkward as there not always enough spaces.

“Alpine Teasure!”

You never know if the internet info will match the actual circumstance, but in this case the Treff Alpinhotel was all it promised. The setting was wonderful, quiet and peaceful and high upon a hillside. The views were great. The room comfortable and neat and clean. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and the view from the breakfast area breathtaking. We would definitely stay again and again.

“More than happy”

The hotel is centrally located right opposite the train station, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and the breakfast is very good. We would stay there again if we went to Munich.

“Stunning views”

It was a nice hotel and well furnished, there were many extra facilities to use (sauna etc)which appeared to be well maintained. Its location was close to part of the main town but quite far from any other areas. There were many places to eat offering different cuisines. A nice stay although,in one of our rooms some items were not in full working order.

“Nice hotel, great bar!”

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main area of town. It was a little difficult finding it at first. It looks beautiful from the outside. Plenty parking outside & in the garage. The reception was pleasant & easy. The room was clean with TV & clean en-suit with shower. Only problems with the room was - no kettle for tea & coffee and the double bed was two single beds pushed together. The resteraunt is nice with stunning views. Breakfast is plentiful, cold meats, cheese, rolls, pastries, cereal, fruit, hot sausage, bacon, eggs, toast & lots of tea & coffee - perfect start for the day! Downstairs is the bar, the only bar we could find in town, which was visited frequently for nightime beer & schnapps. The food in the bar is great aswell. Downside is the bar menu is not in English. My wife is a vegetarian and so this was a problem, cheese salads & chips was her options, although the whole of south Germany is very much a meat eating & fur coat wearing place. Everyone there was friendly. A real nice hotel, could do with some modernisation in places, but perfectly quaint in typically bavarian. A pleasure to stay for a week.
