"Mother and daughter getaway"
We loved the terrace located on the 10th floor, coffee and tea only on the 2nd floor, coffee was always cold, not sure when fresh coffee was available, although if I would of asked I'm sure they would have made fresh just for me, the staff was that nice! Located in a very quite area! The shower was very very small and no tub, window unit for air... We would stay again!!!

Pocket Guide: New York Upper East Side Independent Boutique Hotels

Of all the superlatives used to describe the Upper East Side, one word is apt: richest. Some of the city’s wealthiest residents live in the high rises that line Fifth Avenue. Be prepared to spend an entire day at the Museum of Metropolitan Art. Both a physical and art-world behemoth, the Met is home to several masterworks, from an intact ancient Nubian temple to post-modern color studies.
