Very convenient central hotel
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Substantial breakfast with allowance for Gluten intolerance
Cons: Road noise through open windows
Location: central location with easy access to busses and trains
This was our second visit to a central hotel with a generally pleasing atmosphere. The staff are very helpful at the desk with excellent English! The breakfast is plentiful and covers a wide spectrum of tastes. The absence of air conditioning means that a balance has to be struck between fresh air in the warm weather and the street noise early in the morning that can be a bit intrusive. We will stay again when we are next in Uppsala, but will try for an inside room next time.

superb experience
Posted Jan 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
A superb experience indeed. Most affordable in a very clean, modern and spacious hotel very conveniently located only 5 small New York City blocks (Not avenue blocks, but street blocks) from the train station, centrally located, with reponsive service. The decor is modern, clean lined, Sandinavian simplicity with comfort. Very larged rooms and bathrooms.

Cost-effective hotel in Uppsala
Posted Jan 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
Everything was adequate, and the rooms as well as the lobby are spacious. I paid about 30% less by staying here compared to two other hotels near the Central Station that I stayed in previously. There is a four block walk (about 10 minutes) from the CS, and its worth taking.

Comfortable beds, helpful staff
Posted Jan 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
The room was a little bit worn, but very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The desk staff were friendly and efficient, and very helpful. They gave us details on the train to the airport, which ended up being very quick and easy.

Well located in wonderful Upsalla.
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: It's in Upsalla!
Cons: Should offer reduced rate daytime parking in underground garage.
Location: Excellent
Well located, good parking (at cost) underneath hotel. Walking distance to all places. Large, bright breakfast room, good food. Lively Irish pub next door.

Go if you like dorm rooms
Posted Jan 27, 2012
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Car parking expensive and inconvenient
Location: Ok middle of town, long walk to university
When I got there it was overbooked, got a room with no TV, no night stand, window wouldn't close. Looked like a dorm room, holes in all the walls no decorations, stark and bare. This is a 2 star hotel at best Breakfast was pretty good, otherwise I would not go back
