This place was great

Posted Mar 25, 2015
My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. When we arrived, even though it was after 11pm, we felt like the entire staff was waiting up just for us to make things as easy and comfortable as possible. In fact, this is how we felt our entire stay. We were well taken care of by a staff that clearly goes over and above. We will be recommending this place to anyone who visits Sedona.

Very nice and peaceful

We just completed a four day stay at the resort. The service and hospitality were second to none! Everyone was so very friendly and helpful. The resort landscaping was maintained immaculately. The housekeeping staff was in the room twice per day freshening up, bringing ice and towels. The resort restaurant was a little pricey, but outstanding service and food! I would highly recommend this resort if you are traveling to beautiful Sedona. The location is perfect as you are near shopping, restaurants, hiking in all directions.

Hidden in plain sight

Pros: The hotel is located walking distance from uptown and the Tlaque Paque shopping area yet when you're at the resort you don't feel close to town at all
Location: Hike West Fork, Boynton Canyon, and Cathedral Rock, these were all worth the effort. Good local beers are available at Oak Creek Brewery.
I stayed at L’Auberge for six nights and had a terrific stay. The staff is attentive and friendly without overdoing it. I was booked in to the lodge, not one of the many cottages. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the nightly turn-down service was a welcome touch. A note for light sleepers, if you stay on the first floor (as I did) you will hear the guests above moving around often. I especially enjoyed the detailed suggestions the staff gave me on where to hike and how difficult the trails might be in the current conditions (there was a lot of spring snow melt and recent rains swelling Oak Creek while I was there.) Their suggestions on where to shop and casual places to eat were on target as well. I was solo on this trip but I could readily imagine a stay at L’Auberge being very romantic, especially if you book one of the cabins. Dinner at their restaurant was excellent. The food was inventive and cooked to perfection. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable about how the food was prepared, and familiar enough with the wine list to make a great pairing suggestion to go with my dinner. I look forward to staying at L’Auberge again on my next trip to Sedona.

Great base camp to enjoy the red rocks of Sedona

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: SERVICE!!
Location: There are 200 miles of hiking trails. If you like wine there is the wine sedona tours, which takes you up to Jerome. The pink jeep tours are close.
The services is exceptional. They are very accommodating. Our room was quaint and allowed for privacy. The restaurant was very good. The price fix menu had plenty of options for all tastes. We enjoyed feeding the ducks

Great Hotel on Oak Creek.

Posted Mar 3, 2015
The hotel is conveniently located in a wooded area near the Uptown area of Sedona. The on site restaurants were excellent. We enjoyed eating in the bar area overlooking the creek. They have valet parking for cars and the staff had our car available within minutes of asking. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.
