nice stay in ColoniaPosted Nov 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
A newer hotel in Colonia, built a little ways from the downtown area. Very comfortable rooms and hotel, with more of a modern design. Helpful staff ready to assist you with finding your way around the city and clearly wanting to make your stay a good one. Nice pool area, and simple breakfast in the morning.

colonial hotelPosted Mar 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very well designed new hotel with views to the River. Sunsets are spectacular from this hotel location. You will need a rental car to get here from the Port & Old Town. Very good breakfast and they offer dinner in the onsite restaurant. We took a taxi from the port, and when we got to the hotel and realized how much there was to see in this small town the hotel staff arranged for a rental car delivered to us at the hotel, superb service by the English speaking staff.

Loved the hotel. The only problem was that they could not change money at the front desk. Other than that it was lovely.

Beauty all aroundPosted Jul 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Costa Colonia is a beautifully designed hotel - it seems no expense was spared, except perhaps on interior sound damping insulation. The hotel emphasizes coming to stay and relax - but it is hard to do when you can hear EVERYTHING. Around 4 a.m. a staff member was delivering the checkout slips and I could hear him coughing all the way down the corridor. And though, no fault of the hotel's, construction began across the street at 7 a.m. Having said all that it is beautiful, clean and the staff were excellent! It's too bad our trip was short - - we hope to be back very soon!

bad hotel for sleepPosted Jul 11, 2012
The Room 110 had windows for a construction. We call the concierge ( Veronica ) about the noise they made int the morning and asked to change room. Not exchanged. We know that on July 9 and 10 the hotel was empty and still not exchanged room.

wounderful riverview, spacious roomsPosted Apr 17, 2012
Pros: view, architecture
Location: You will need a car (or a taxi) to go the historic center.
A small hotel, with outstanding rational architecture, and wonderful riverview. Spacious rooms with a kitchenette.

Riverside BoutiquePosted Apr 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Cutting edge design, good service, nice pool, excellent value for money. A little way out of Colonia but worth the 5 min taxi drive. We highly recommend Riverside Boutique Hotel.

Beautiful new hotelPosted Feb 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was a great place to stay in Colonia. We very much enjoyed this stylish hotel and its amenities. We took in the sun lounging by the outdoor pool and across the road at the beach. The free breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the staff were helpful. There aren't any restaurants around the hotel and you have to go into town for most things, howerver taxis to Colonia were very inexpensive and we walked the distance a couple of times.

The hotel is wonderful but the location is about 2 or 3 kilometers from the tourist area where most people congregate.
