Immaculate Hotel in Punta del Este
Our arrival at this hotel posed its only problem...the sign pointing to the entrance isn't visible until you've pulled into the wrong driveway. That may be a good thing, however, as it keeps this idyllic bungalow-style hotel far from prying eyes. Located on a growing stretch of coastal road 5 minutes from downtown Punta del Este the Belvedere wows you with beautiful green lawns and crystal blue pools. A path across the road leads to the beach. I have never been in a cleaner hotel, and the staff is always working to maintain the place without feeling like they are in your way. The lovely breakfast buffet is always fresh and good on goes on for hours, with fresh eggs prepared at your request. Rooms are large and comfortable, our two-room suite was quite nice with a kitchenette (no stove) for those in need of that.

Huge room .....great beach view
Great room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A little ways out of Punta so probably not a great choice if you don't have a car.

This is a place I will never forget the scenery was jaw dropping and the whole place was spotless. I was so sad to leave the staff were extremely helpful my only issue I have is nobody spoke good English I wish I had learned to speak good Spanish.

Not a typical high-rise resort
Very nice spread out resort away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We stayed in one of the bungalows, on the upper floor. This had a separate living room and kitchen. The rooms are beautifully constructed with brick and wood, exposed wooden rafters and ceiling fans in bedroom and living room. The condition of the room was impeccable. Bathroom was very nice, big shower (no tub), a little lacking on horizontal space around the sink. Nice touch, vent window you could open to keep from steaming up the bathroom too much. Kitchen had lots of room and a decent medium-sized fridge. Bed was very comfy. You wouldn't think much sound would penetrate a brick wall but a really angry baby in the other half of the bungalow kept us on edge under it gave up and went to sleep. Breakfast in the clubhouse's upstairs dining hall was very nice; plenty of items and of a high quality. There was also a complementary afternoon tea which was a nice unexpected touch (don't know if this is a year-round thing). We visited in late October and it was somewhat cool and overcast so we can't comment on beach access, the pool, the bar, etc. The staff members we dealt with spoke pretty good English, and were helpful with questions and recommendations.

Great Family Hotel
Perfect family hotel with great location across the street from a beautiful beach. Large grounds with two nice pools. The room was great. Will definitely go there again with the family. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and spoke English well.

Great hotel; would highly recommend.
Hotel exceeded expectations; the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was nice. The staff on the beach were great and provided us with an umbrella. We were allowed to use the facilities after checkout which was super nice too. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Great Place
The Il Belvedere offers a unique vacation / getaway experience. Their bungalow style living quarters (i.e. your own kitchen, dining area, porch, and bbq) offers considerably more space and a relaxing stay. This combined with the well groomed green space, large pool, amazing breakfast (& and 5pm tea time), and proximity to the beach makes it the best place to stay. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and know you will too.

O Hotel é maravilhoso, os quartos são espaçosos, limpos, confortáveis, adoramos. O jardim é extremamente bem cuidado, assim como a piscina. Na verdade o quarto mais simples tem uma sala, uma pequena cozinha e um banheiro excelente, além da varanda. Excelente custo benefício e o restaurante do hotel achamos um dos melhores de Punta del Este.

Um dos melhores lugares onde estive. Ideal para lua de mel e passeio com a família. Eles dispõem de uma espécie de casa de campo com dois pavimentos, em vez de um simples quarto. Tudo funciona perfeitamente. Saí de lá porque tinha de voltar.

La verdad que es excelente. Buena atención y servicio (de lo más difícil de conseguir). La comida del desayuno impecable. Nos regalaron un té con lo para comer delicioso y hasta cenamos en precio muy rico. Las instalaciones nuevas y muy completas con detalles en todo. Áreas verdes piscina play room para niños, gimnasio, bicis para salir, pool, Ping pong, libros, diario, etc. Las cabañas espectaculares, buen baño y buena ducha, kitchenette, cama cómoda, tele que se ve bien en HD!!! Increíble jaja no como hoteles q conectan 8 habitaciones a una toma y se ve horrible. Buen estacionamiento con buena seguridad. Enfrente a la playa de muy fácil llegada. Muuuuy tranquilo entorno!! Le doy la máxima puntuación para este estilo de hoteles y eso no es fácil en Uruguay!! Volvería seguro!!

Excelente hotel. Nosotros estuvimos alojados en una cabaña de dos pisos, en la parte inferior. Mucha madera y vidrio que lo torna muy cálido. Cuenta con heladera y microondas pero no con horno. Excelente cama y almohadas. Muy buen baño. Cuenta con bicis gratuitas para pasear. Tiene pool, gimnacio y sala de TV con peliculas. Tiene una piscina fria y otra tibia (no caliente), ambas exteriores. El desayunador esta elevado por lo que tiene una vista impagable. El desayuno es muy bueno. La atencion perfecta. Gracias.

O hotel é excelente, indico a todos que tenham crianças!! Tem uma infraestrutura espetacular para os pequenos com um espaço kids fantástico, as moças que cuidam do lugar são muito bem preparadas para isso. O Quarto é muito aconchegante e tem tudo que é necessário para uma longa estadia!

Punta no Il Belvedere
O hotel Il Belvedere é excelente, um dos melhores que já estive. O lugar é muito bonito e bem cuidado, as plantas estão sendo cuidadas direto, um ponto turístico praticamente. As piscinas são boas, o staff é muito legal e comprometido, nota 10 para eles. Fiquei em um bangalô, este parece uma pequena e charmosa casa de campo. Fiquei na parte de baixo, mas escuta-se um pouco do pessoal que encontra-se no bangalô de cima, por isso, tentem pegar um bangalô no nível superior. O wifi funciona muito bem (no resto do Uruguai só encontrei wifi ruim). O café da manhã é bom, nada exótico. A localização não é ruim, mas não é nada perto do centro também. O ideal é alugar um carro, garanto que vai pagar menos que táxi se precisar ficar indo e vindo para fazer turismo. É isso, hotel recomodadíssimo.
